Probably. At least we know the party/dream will happen in the beginning of the episode. I wonder why Gold wouldn’t dream of Regina at the party. It made sense for Bae not to but you’d think Rumple would.

This is interesting to me cause Lacey seems pretty interested in Rumple’s dark nature, so the question is even though Lacey is so different from Belle was it also Rumple’s dark nature that she fell in love with?
I’m quite convinced that the point of the backstory will be to show us what she fell in love with. And that makes me squee a bit. This ep will kill us with feels.

That’s what I’m looking forward to also, but the thing with Lacey Rumple maybe in a situation where he can choose the easy way and be with someone who embraces his darkness and doesn’t want him to change or he could fight for Belle and do what she’s always wished him to. Really Lacey could end up being Rumple’s Siren.

Yes, I agree. I am sure he will be tempted to stick with the status quo, but I believe his better nature will win in the end.

He has to, at some point he has to realize that whatever happiness or appeal there is with Lacey it’s not real it’s part of Regina’s curse
