According to showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, Tamara really is just a regular human, with no alternate identity whatsoever.

And I repeat what I said a moment ago, since the page just changed. If she has NO FTL identity that doesn’t mean she isn’t related to FTL people. Emma has NO FTL identity because she is a new story. She is not like Snow who is also MM. Tamara could still have connections to FTL without being a story we already know.

I think it would refreshing for once to have a character come into Storybrooke that doesn’t have a connection to someone in FT world. That would be serious, real-world stuff coming to Storybrooke and everything going to 👿 😈 later.

Don’t Owen and Flynn meet the criteria of being true outsiders and not having any prior connection to FTL? That being the case, I could see Tamara being the daughter of FTL characters. She might have been born in our world, like Henry, but his parents were from the EF. She knows way too much about magic and shows such a passion for acquiring magical abilities to just be some average Plain Jane.

I agree with Slurpeez. And in one of the interviews, H and K mentioned that there were more connections to be made and that some would be very surprising. And I think at this point the only connections to still be made have to be with Tamara.
