Lana Parrilla Gets Engaged to Fred Di Blasio in Israel!
Lana Parrilla’s love life is going considerably better than her character’s on Once Upon Time.
Lana, who plays Regina/Evil Queen on the ABC drama, is engaged to Fred Di Blasio, according to The Times of Israel.
Fred popped the question last week while the couple was vacationing in the Negrev, a desert in Israel.
Lana and Fred were visiting Israel with several actor pals, including Scandal stars Guillermo Diaz, Bellamy Young, and Katie Lowes.
Lana, who is 35, says she felt “so celebrated” by everyone who heard about her happy news. She says she’s even considering returning to Israel every year to remember the happy moment.
Lana told Us Weekly earlier this year that shootng Once Upon a Time in a rather isolated location in Canada has brought her closer to Fred.
“Being up there has given me the freedom to invest in a relationship,” she said. “It’s been slightly rewarding.”
As for her character, Regina has nabbed her share of hotties, including Graham, Daniel, and some recent flirting with Hook and his amazing guyliner. But these days, Regina is more focused on not getting tortured by Greg and Tamara than she is on finding love, which is understandable.
