White Knight – Shiva – Baelfire and possibly Pinocchio as the head fruit. (please read)
I still like my original line of thinking he’sThe White Knight – or something like an Ascended Master Knight Templar/Archivist for the Book and a guru to help Emma “see the light” of her true Self and the Creation/Creative Spark within her. Also, I’ve been thinking more on Baelfire and I can see August as both, Baelfire + Knight on a more spiritually transformed purpose than selfish revenge on his crappy dad. With so many Pinocchio, Oz and Wonderland clues, perhaps, August is a vessel host/Avatar and serving the role much like Shiva, The God of Love/The Destroyer (of worlds? see Shiva, below). August is probably also the ghost of Henry’s father Bael + fire + Emma’s story to Henry about his father dying a hero(knight) in a fire.
The Bael tree is said to grow where no other tree can grow and the fruit is also known as head fruit because of it’s shape and tough, woody shell (like a wooden head).
Anyway, there’s my 11th hour prediction on August.
Below is more on Bael and Shiva, if you want to read up on it.
Happy endings, everyone!
In the traditional culture of Nepal, the bael tree is part of a fertility ritual for girls known as the Bel baha. Girls are “married” to the bael fruit and as long as the fruit is kept safe and never cracks the girl can never become widowed, even if her human husband dies. This was seen to be protection against the social disdain suffered by widows.
Shiva ( /ˈʃɪvə/; Sanskrit: शिव Śiva, meaning “auspicious one”) is a major Hindu deity, and is the destroyer of evil or transformer among the Trimurti, the Hindu Trinity of the primary aspects of the divine. Shiva is a yogi who has notice of everything that happens in the world and is the main aspect of life. Yet one with great power, he lives a life of a sage at Mount Kailash. In the Shaiva tradition of Hinduism, Shiva is seen as the Supreme God and has five important works: creator, preserver, destroyer, concealer, and revealer (to bless).
Wow, so after tonight’s episode, we can say definitively that August is not Baelfire. I still think he’s a former puppet.

It’s too bad. But maybe Bae will be Henry’s father.
I’m guessing the Pinocchio bandwagon is getting kind of crowded now?
