Charters are getting limited screen time because the cast is so large… I tried counting the characters and then they added more. IF everyone showed up in one show it would be like watching a DISNEY PARADE … probably no plot or story just and endless parade.
I personally like the show as is … episodes that highlight different characters but advance the plot or story line. I am willing to wait for the various characters to show up when they move the story along.
I also realize that actors / actresses are brought on for limited time frames for when they add to the story. If they are just screen dressing or part of the backdrop I do not think they would find the work very fulfilling. If you are disappointed maybe you just need to be patient and your favorites will return.
BTW if you want to see HOOK… tonight ( Queen is Dead) is a good night to see him.

.Thanks. I’m still holding out hope they turn him into one of the good guys! 🙂
.Maybe now that we are going to NEVER-LAND!
Yeah, that would be great!!! I hope Hook sticks around for at least the next couple of seasons, but that they redeem him. I can hope!!!! 😉

So the only reason they did not use that much of Hook is because the poor bugger broke his leg… No evil plan or bad intentions. Just trying to keep him in the picture but off his feet.
Happy now, Hookers?
It was remarked about on the Internet but some HOOK lovers had hysterics saying he was killed. I think they need to check their sources. And maybe they should have taken a deep breath.

I’m not sure it’s so much that Hook lovers were having hysterics but that Hook haters keep drumming up ridiculous things trying to get rid of a character they don’t like and dash others hopes. Every rumor needs to be taken with a grain of salt because people do believe things they read even if it’s just somebody giving an opinion of what can or cannot happen and just fail to word it as opinion. Remember the whole: Snow & Emma are dressed strangely and therefore must be Cora & Hook in disguise debacle that turned out to be absolutely nothing? Yet another reason to stay away from spoilers…
EVERY character, good, bad, somewhere in-between is what makes this show what it is. We can hate to love or love to hate whoever we want but if we love this show there is no reason to step on others toes about who they like. The constant stirring up of fans of other ships than your own is unnecessary and mean. Let people theorize, let them have their fun hoping for something to happen. If we weren’t invested enough to care, we wouldn’t enjoy it half as much as we do. We’d just be mindless drones watching every week.
He seems like a very nice albeit private guy and has been great to his fans on twitter and such. Hopefully this puts all of this nonsense to rest and we can stop debating where the actor is and start focusing on what matters: the show itself.

More good news for Hook fans! Last two episodes of the sesaon are titled Second Star to the Right, and Straight On Till Morning! We’re going to Neverland!
Can we keep him there? 😕 😎
I’m not a Hook fan at all, but the good thing about this show is that it doesn’t just revolve around one character. If it started to turn into “The Hook Show” I’d probably not be as interested. Nothing to do with the actor. He’s fine, I just dislike the character. But the show is an ensemble with multiple storylines going on. If you don’t like Rumbelle, then just fast forward through their scenes and something else will pop up in the next scene. If Snowing is your OTP, then enjoy everytime they’re on the screen.
The show will always revolve in some way around the five main adult characters and Henry. It’s still ultimately a story about “the curse to end all curses” and then “the final battle will begin.” We’re just taking a wandering path to get there.

While I may not agree with your choice of characters (well, I love most everybody and definitely do NOT want Hook to disappear)…I completely agree on the rest of the sentiment! I’ve tried to remind people (and failed miserably) that this isn’t “Snow White” …or any other lone fairy tale: it is Once Upon A Time…it would be rather disappointing to not explore, even if only for a little while, other characters and they’ve done a pretty good job of connecting them to whatever is going on with the main characters so that it’s relevant.
Everybody likes different things and one of the great things about this show is the wide variety it has: there’s something in it for everybody. So to each their own and happy ONCEing (is that a word now??). 🙂

To each his own I’m a big Hook fan but there’s not really an aspect of the show that I don’t really like. There’s times that I’m in a Rumbelle mood or sometimes I feel like Snowing, or Red it’s great to have so many appealing aspects of a show. Not to long ago I tried to see things in chronological order lol.
