Could be, like Cora taking her own heart out. I liked that idea Girlhitscar had though, of the Andersen story about the Shadow that replaces a person. They’re already bringing in the Little Mermaid to NL.

The only problem is then that the shadow we saw didn’t seem to be able to check the boy against the prophecy picture. Maybe it can’t really tell such details as it was not human enough at that point (following the shadow story)?

Hi guys! I’m new and so happy to talk to fellow oncers!

I know Adam and Eddy are all about things never being what they seem (evidence in PP being the big bad for next season), but do you think that he started out that way? I think they are drawing some parallels between Rumple and PP. Could it be that every magical world has some form the dark one?

I still think the Shadow is Pan’s shadow but it doesn’t really do anything except the bidding of Peter, which is to bring boys to NL.

Haven’t they already said it was Pan’s shadow? I’m sure I rememeber A&E saying “We haven’t seen Peter yet, we’ve only seen his shadow”

I agree, it obviously has some weaknesses too. As seen when Bae gets away from it using a match. Is it possible that the shadow can’t come out during the day or maybe he is some kind of astral projection of PP?

My thoughts exactly. I’m thinking she had to sacrifice a bit of the little magic she’d brought with her to Storybrooke, which summoned Tink, which helped “procure” Henry. I’m not sure how exactly, but i can see it. Althought, “procure” reminds me that Rumple is involved somehow.

When i think of the way the word “Procured” comes up so often, it strikes me as a curse word – as in a word used in result of the curse.

I wonder if Regina could use the memory triggers both ways. Like the rabbit hole matchbook with Bell, but instead of getting false memories, a character gets their real memories back. What if she did this for Rumple, so he’d help her get a baby through magical means.

This could definitely add to the trust issues that must exist aboard the jolly Roger, especially between Rumple and Regina

I think procured could mean that Gold had a hand in arranging the adoption and deliverance of Henry to Regina but that he didn’t get his hands dirty himself. If Regina could leave Storybrooke, even though nobody else can and nobody could come to Storybrooke, then it is likely the pick up point was outside of Storybrooke. It’ll be interesting to see Regina’s first days as a mom.

Despite not having his FTL memories prior to Emma’s arrival, we know Mr. Gold was in the black market of baby procurement (Ashley had an agreement to sell her baby to Mr. Gold in 1×4). Something tells me Regina’s adoption wasn’t exactly legal either, considering that Mr. Gold said Regina was trifling with details when she claimed Henry was hers. Technically, the adoption never really went through any state jurisdiction. So, there needed to be someone like August or Tinerkerbelle who brought baby Henry to Storybrooke, ME, a place that technically no one could get to, so it had to be someone who was magical and someone who knew how to get there.

Part of me thinks Regina left SB to collect Henry; with her memories intact and being unaffected by the Curse, I think she may have been able to leave, at least for a short time. But I agree that someone from THO brought her Henry. My guess is Tink. I think THO used August for other means, like making sure Emma was never settled and happy.
