Final Live Sunday ratings are in, and are adjusted from the numbers posted yesterday. Once actually bumped up to a 2.3! This is great news, and hopefully the numbers start increasing more in the next few weeks!
Good to see that our ratings share is now tied with Amazing Race. The Live +7 days will probably put us at about 10 million and take us up to at LEAST 2.6 rating share, whereas Amazing Race probably won’t grow as much. Does that mean we won the hour? (at least in the non cable channels)
Yeah, I don’t think reality shows like Amazing Race are watched as much on DVR. They are much more appealing to watch live. For Once to actually gain a number after DST compared to last week’s episode is actually impressive. Most shows suffer some sort of drop due to DST, including Once last Season.
Wonder if the jump was influenced at all by all the live tweeting. I swear, every cast member and their dog was live tweeting during the west coast screening, and I figured it was probably a ploy to try and get some more people watching live.

I have no doubt about it. The campaigned this episode HARD. I think they wanted to see if they could spike the interest in the live viewing again. The numbers did go up, though not as much as ABC probably wanted. But up is up!

Colin O’Donoghue didn’t tweet. He might have been filming yeah, but I think he should have at least supported his fellow cast members. Just because he wasn’t in it, didn’t mean it should have been an irrelevant issue. Raphael Sbarge tweeted during that time slot, and he wasn’t it in it either. I thought his doing that showed a lot of good sportsmanship on his part. After all, they all play for the same team!
Keegan Connor Tracy (Blue) was also live tweeting that night, and she didn’t appear in the episode either nor was she among the cast that ABC announced would be tweeting. My guess is the main people who were promoted to be live tweeting were paid to do so ABC for publicity’s sake, and the others who joined in did so out of their own free will. I’m sure the live tweeting helped out, though.
I hope Colin live tweets the season finale. Who better than Cap'n Hook to live tweet about Neverland!
so basically we pulled the same numbers even with the DST shot, lets see if with DVR we beat out Amazing Race

Actually, we pulled slightly higher numbers than last week even with the DST shot.
