I think they need to rethink which episodes come after the hiatuses. They need the episodes after a break to be HUGE ones, the ones you know you CAN’T miss.
Since “In the Name of the Brother”, we have yet to get into the higher 2 shares or over 8 million viewers again.
You mean live, right? Because live +7 is always about 2.7-3.0 with 8.5-10 million views.
Yes, I mean live.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 25, 2013 at 5:23 pm #182187riniParticipantI’m worried. I’m really trying not to be, but no matter how much we adore this show, no matter how passionate we are about the writing, acting, directing – anything! It is so sad it all comes down to numbers.
However, abc is clearly capitalizing on the success of the show with the magazine introduction, potential spin-off, and now the book. If abc was in any way giving up, they wouldn’t have considered any of these options as viable business deals.
Oh, and why is twitter saying that some fans are giving up on the show? I don’t get it!

At this point I’m not expecting anything anymore…..
March 25, 2013 at 5:29 pm #182198RumplesGirlKeymasterI really hope the next new episode which is going to focus again on the core cast, especially the much beloved Rumbelle will pick up steam. I think a lot of people didn’t care about the Pinocchio storyline (plus, it didn’t seem like they really broadcasted this episode as much on the social media sites…all the spoiler tweets were from the sneak peaks!)
It could be because this was a weaker episode. The last time the numbers went this low it was for Tiny, which I believe was also written by the same duo who put S,B and T together.
It could also be because things are going quite complicated and people are lost. I hope the special “The Price of Magic” helps.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 25, 2013 at 5:35 pm #182203RumplesGirlKeymasterCorrection: Tiny was written by Boylan and Vazquez. (7.08 live viewers)
S,B and T was written by Vazquez and Hull (Hull’s last episode was The Crocodile, a personal favorite of mine, he co-wrote it). (6.85 live viewers)"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 25, 2013 at 5:44 pm #182208butterscotchParticipantThis is just such a major ratings drop. Not just for this episode, but in general starting from In the Name of the Brother. At first I really thought it was just a major competition, but now….. Maybe if we’re lucky they can rise because it’s the last 4 episodes but I doubt it at this point. I remember when months ago Jane had an interview and said the show is doing really, really great. Wonder what she would say now…….Kitsis and Horowitz really need to take a hard look into the show, and fix whatever is wrong next season if there is one.
March 25, 2013 at 5:47 pm #182211RumplesGirlKeymasterI have no doubt that we will have a season three. NO doubt. BUT yes, Adam and Eddy need to realize that somethings haven’t helped this season. I for one would like to see less characters being introduced for just one storyline. They need to focus on family (the core cast really). I know we need big bads and that’s fine, they can introduce a villain for the entire season and let us see their story, but no more one time only characters and they’ve got to make the filler episodes better.

The truth is I really don’t know anything about ratings and before this show I never, ever worried about them. Now I find myself worrying constantly. It’s by far my favorite show on tv, if it was up to me it would run for 20 more years. Sad to see people quiting on it. They do have some moments that are not so great, but then again they have moments that are beyond amazing. I just hope we can get more of those.
