Or I could just give you the link. Sorry. I’m tired.
10.5 million viewers and 3.4 ratings share![adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 26, 2013 at 12:50 am #182305nonnieParticipantRIGHT NOW, OUAT is up against MARCH MADNESS … Last year our numbers were down also against the basketball finales. That is one reason we suffer the stupid hiatus… ABC’s top guns know that they should not waste their best shows against sports completions it is a loosing battle so instead of going head to head against them they have marathons and re runs to review and recapture audiences that do not care for sports.

.March 26, 2013 at 12:51 am #182306RumplesGirlKeymasterOoooh. I totally forgot about March Madness. Plus with the “Bible” on the History channel pulling in oddly high numbers (but it ended last night!), plus it being DST now plus S,B, and T not being the best episode…the numbers were going to be lower.

Major ouch, guys. Like major.
A predictable outcome if the audience doesn’t feel satisfied or wanted. I mean look at the fans of Captain Hook. They’ve been begging for something to cheer them up and tide them over for weeks, and are just being ignored. Just some little bit of information about Hook, maybe an article about Colin filming….something! I think interviews with Colin O’Donoghue about Hook would in itself, be helpful because it keeps the proverbial blood flowing. They’ve gotten nothing, and so nothing is flowing, things have grown stagnant, and now deterioration has set in. Last night, a favorite character (adult August) was eliminated. Fans were upset, but I wonder how many nerves would have been settled if Bailey had done an interview released after the show, about why he left Once, and about his feelings on August’s story? That’s an untapped resource the show’s powers-that-be didn’t recognize because the foundation of such a need (the fans) has already been arrogantly dismissed as being only a secondary priority.
The writers have an “it’s my party” attitude, and so fans don’t feel respected, wanted, or even needed. Fans want to see this show succeed. We are hungry for information and plot criteria to stay excited and interested in OUAT, but how can that happen if we aren’t getting anything?
Why should we even expect anything? Any set pics? Any instant interviews?
Before the internet, people were content to watch. And follow then actual storyline. K&H started writing this ten years ago. It amazed me that people were complaining about Hook not being in S,B, And T because they knew about his leg injury and obviously it wasn’t better by then. They said at Paleyfest they had to rearrange some Hook stuff. IMO he would have been on again immediately but he broke his leg.
Do people understand they film these EPs months in advance? He’s not in it because this is around the time his leg was still injured and healing. To me, Paleyfest was HUGE for the season and enough. Sure it was released early on, but so what? They gave so much info about every ep left in the season. So, if fans are waiting for info about the rest of the season, to get excited, consider Paleyfest that gift. Of course I want more. But I don’t expect it or feel entitled. I’m already excited because I love this show
They don’t owe us anything. They are blessing us with this story they’ve created. If it weren’t for the internet, people wouldn’t even demand more info. The whole point to the show is to watch the show. I love spoilers just as much as everyone else on here, but to say lack of spoilers is damaging and threatening the show… that’s innaccurate.
This is K& H. Their spirit and heart reminds me of Walt Disney. He was a dreamer. And he shared his dreams with the world. Just because we can write our opinions constantly on the internet doesn’t give us right to demand anything. I think they know about their fandom, I think they know about ratings, and I KNOW they understand the sillyness of Nielson. This show is creating so much buzz. And the normal everyday person who watches, I.e. the majority, don’t get on boards. Don’t watch spoilers. Don’t watch interviews. They enjoy the story and are enjoying their story.
Saying fans are being disrespected etc is like going into Olive Garden, sitting down to a meal, and demanding they change their entire recipes/menus and replace it will your personal recipes and then calling it disrespect when they don’t. They have been in the restaurant business for years. You came to them to eat.If you expected to eat your own recipes, cook at home. Or write fan fic.
I for one love their story and have the utmost faith. They’ll be back. No worries! 🙂 IDK, Maybe I’m just too optimistic! Lol

March 26, 2013 at 3:18 pm #182365RumplesGirlKeymasterFinal live and DVR numbers for Sunday’s “Selfless, Brave, and True”
We went up to 7.38 million viewers and a ratings share of 2.2
The numbers from this week and last week live/next day are very similar meaning we didn’t drop has hard as previous thought. The live+7 for S,B, and T will be out twoish weeks from now and that should see us get up to about 9-10 million. Our initial panic/stress was warrented (we all want the numbers to be up) but we’re still doing very well.

I think that’s where we’re gonna be for the rest of the year we’ll probably have a strong showing for the finale but I think we’ll be about 2.2-2.4 then 3.2-3.4 DVR

Well the major cable competition, especially the Bible, will be done by the time Once returns from its hiatus. Plus, the hype for the end of the Season will hopefully gain viewers’ attentions.
March 26, 2013 at 9:30 pm #182446RumplesGirlKeymasterI can see our numbers and rating share growing a little for the last 4 episodes of the year. But I don’t think it will be a significant change, except maybe for the finale. Prediction: episodes 19 and 20 stay at 7-8 million views and 2.2/2.3 ratings share. Episode 21 8 million/2.3 ratings share. Episode 22 8-9 million/2.3-2.4 rating share. That’s what I would like to see.
BUT I think the finale is going to be good enough that the S3 premier will draw in a big viewing, so long as ABC promotes the heck out of it like they did with S2."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
