An excerpt from Adam and Eddy’s Interview about #WickedOutlaw Baby
I’m quite sure this is Adam and Eddy’s attempt to redeem and possibly keep Zelena on the show…despite fandom reactions, even they wouldn’t kill off a pregnant mother.
Zelena has abandonment and envy issues….having something that is finally hers, and having the chance to raise and do for it what she wished Cora would have done for her, maybe a good thing for Zelena indeed because it’d help her resolve at least some of her issues, my only thing is why did it have to be Robin Hood’s baby!!!!!!

Zelena was lonely and cray cray. I could imagine her using that dagger to summon Stiltskin in the middle of the night and…..yeah. I mean, honestly, would you put it past her? She was obviously attracted to Rump and maybe even in love with him, and was clearly open to the idea of them being….ahem, intimate on that kitchen table. And now she had ultimate power over him to FORCE him to do whatever she wanted. Rumpel was to Zelena what Graham was to Regina.
And there’s the number one reason why your scenario can’t be true. A and E tip toe (like a proverbial herd of elephants) around rape, only dipping their toe into that pond and then fleeing claiming “you don’t know what was going on!” But actual rape? Rumple actually being compelled by the dagger to service Zelena and more, very real, literal version of rape? Nope. A and E aren’t going to go down that path.
I agree. In one of the deleted scenes when she forced him to eat the meal she cooked, I thought that she was capable of anything. However, I think that whilst the threat was there, A&E didn’t carry through with it.

From the above interview.
NOPE NOPE NOPE.
That’s not how this works, boys! Zelena raping a man with the intention of getting pregnant and using that baby out of spite does not make my sympathize with her. It makes me sympathize with the BABY.

I guess they are using the same for Zelena.

Either they redeem Zelena or they don’t but neither choice has good outcomes.
They redeem Zelena:
1. OQ and Zelena play “happy families” raising the child- this completely ignores the fact that Zelena raped Robin.
2. Zelena dies a “hero” allowing OQ to raise the baby- See above with the added insult that they killed off a mother so that OQ could have their little family unit in a neat little bow. They don’t redeem Zelena:
1. Zelena dies and OQ raise the baby as their own- See above
2. Zelena has a miscarriage or the baby is magically disappeared- All a plot device so OQ get their happy ending whilst being insensitive to certain issues.
3. OQ take the baby from Zelena by force and raise it as their own- This just leaves a bad taste. All magic comes with a price!

I think the #3 option for this is that RH and Regina let Zelena go back to the EF and raise her baby there (no, I have no idea how she gets back. But portals are apparently all the rage lately. Ariel can take her or something equally silly). The issue? Robin has now abandoned his child with another woman (even if it’s one that was forced upon him) to be with Regina. Would RH with his (frustrating) code really agree to never see his child again?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 2, 2015 at 3:40 pm #303482PriceofMagicParticipantNo he wouldn’t which is why I think they wouldn’t have Zelena do that.

But from a writing perspective, it is the easiest solution, whether or not it’s in Robin’s character is beside the point. How much OOC have we come up with in this season alone? Having Zelena safely ensconced away in the EF, but available for guest star if A and E get a SHINY idea, but out of the way so that the OQ ship can safely sail forth without the constant reminder of Zelena and baby is the easiest answer as a writer.

I agree 1 million billion zillion percent. A&E are trying to create drama and this is not the way.

Didn’t this happen with Cole/Phoebe on Charmed when she got pregnant an the baby was like pure evil…. She had a miscarriage right? Or was the baby magically stolen and put into the womb of the other evil lady who was then destroyed? hmm… either, I think the baby died somehow and I don’t believe anyone mourned over it all.

There is currently a working portal to the EF in the Sorcerer’s mansion that goes to Arendelle. Zelena could use it and then fly back to Regina’s castle to live in or fly back to Oz (as I suspect her broomstick can travel lands).

^ Seriously, the pregnancy is “real”? Egad! I wish these writers would stop trying to force sympathy for wicked people who commit vile acts like rape and murder. Parenthood is not a magic cure-all. Just because a person has the physical ability to reproduce does not mean she or he would make a good parent. There are just some people who would make terrible parents, and Zelena is one of them. The baby, an innocent, has done nothing to be brought up by this sociopath rapist and murderer. This is a case in which the father should unreservedly be given full custody. I have ZERO sympathy for Zelena! NONE. All the sympathy is for the baby.
