If Rumpel has the heart of Cora cognizant than he would have crashed it already.
However, yesterday I thought about another theory. If Rumpel is Coras menthor, than she would have maybe the same ideas to hide something. Rumpel head the potion of love in the belly of the beast in a golden egg.
What when Cora hide her heart in the near of the “Beast” in a brown ball. Rumpel is probably the strongest Magician in all the realms and he would always look after his only memento of his beloved son Baelfire.

That is an interesting theory 😮
But it would be awfully bold of her to hide her ‘life’ that close to someone who probably wants to kill her.
Yeah, but even if Rumpel glimpse in the future. He would believe that hiding the heart in Beas ball would be a crazy dream and would not destroy his only thing that he posses from his son to confim that. No one would search in the near of Rumpel to find Coras heart.
Another thing is bothering me. Have somebody a clue, what would happen, when you try to reap out Rumpels heart. I mean the only way to kill him is to stab him with the special knife, but can you also crash his heart?

Since he was made immortal and turned into the Dark One, I doubt it. Pherhaps his heart is protected from beeing ripped out, simmilar to Emmas only by dark magic in his case. I think the only way to kill him is with the magic dagger.

or maybe he has hid his own heart! haha 😉

Everything is possibily, this is the reason I love the show.

Personally, I feel like the heart she used to reanimate the corpses, the one she blew on, functioned as a kind of “master heart”, almost like a universal remote. It is possible that one can only wield this type of power over a heart if it is their own…
Brookenstory: I love the idea.

I do think Rumple can be killed by other means than the knife. A nuke for instance would def do the job.
Rumple taught Cora how to pull out hearts in order for her to enact the Dark Curse, but she didn’t. And then she pulled out her own and hid it, probably so that Rumple wouldn’t pull out her heart and control her. So she had to hid it somewhere where Rumple couldn’t get to it.
From what we know so far, the only things that can stop Rumple is the ink and the magical jail bars, at least in FTL. I think it’s more likely she hid it in another universe, that has something similar to the ink/bars but that we haven’t seen yet.

Good point about the nuke. But I highly doubt the writers are going to go down that route. 😆 In the end, it will probably be the dagger.
