Starting to think we might have several flashbacks from Emma’s preStorybrooke life. The official title of the episode is ‘Tallahassee’.

We find out in 1×4 that Emma lived in 7 different places in the past decade since giving up Henry for adoption. The longest place she stayed in was two years – Tallahassee.

You just stated nothing that everyone wasn’t already aware of having watched season 1. 🙄
Are you trying to suggest something or…just felt the need to post?September 22, 2012 at 5:42 pm #154297SlurpeezParticipantWow, not sure what I wrote to set off such a strong reaction or to garner such sarcasm. I was merely making a connection between the title for 2×6 and that line from 1×4. I had only a very vague memory of it and had to re-watch that scene again today to check exactly what Regina said. Not everyone would have remembered that line if they, like me, hadn’t watched that episode recently. I thought it was an interesting and relevant comment to make. I don’t see why I even have to make any sort of defence, but I just did. Good grief.

Don’t worry. I appreciated your post. I didn’t even remember that line from episode 4. So, I was happy that you reminded me. 😀
September 22, 2012 at 7:22 pm #154303PriceofMagicParticipantCould Emma have been running from someone, possibly Henry’s father, hence why she moved around a lot.

maybe Tallahassee is the town where Emma committed a crime that earned her some jail time or Tallahassee is where she was in jail. maybe US citizen could help me out here; if you do jail time in a certain city are you considered a resident of said city? Maybe that’s why she was over there longer then usual.

This actually makes perfect sense. We already know that Emma was thrown in jail for a crime, we just don’t know the nature of the crime or the circumstances. So her committting a crime in Tallahassee makes sense.

The thought of Emma running away from someone makes a lot of sense – especially Henry’s dad. For the most part I guess I assumed she’d moved around because of not knowing where she belonged/trying to locate her parents. It seems strange that Regina and Sydney were able to track her whereabouts if she was running (Emma’s smart enough to know how to not leave a paper trail) But, Regina probably has a lot more resources available than Henry’s dad.
Maybe she got comfortable in Tallahassee (thought she was safe, ready to live for awhile) and bam! Henry’s dad (whoever’s chasing her) pops up!

Guess I just read the comment as HIGHLY condescending – like this reply. I’m not sorry. If it had been phrased to be conversational or in anyway pleasant, I’m sure I would have replied in some amount of excitement about the episode. I’m here for discussion, Slurpeez. Not to be rude, unpleasant, condescending, or sarcastic (at least not at the expense of others). If you can say the same thing, I have absolutely no problems with you but apparently have a hard time deciphering tone in your posts.
