At CC, Robert Carlyle told Access Hollywood he’s looking forward to scenes with Peter Pan.  I’m convinced that Robbie Kay (age 17) is our PP! Robbie has pointy ears, which give him the appearance of being Pan. Also, Robbie has tweeted about working with the cast already so it makes sense Robert Carlyle was speaking about Robbie.

Access Hollywood: You have a lot of new characters coming this season!

Robert Carlyle: Yes, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell…

    AH: Jafar.

    RC: Yes!

AH: Which one are you most looking forward to?

RC: Peter Pan. Because it’s a really lovely actor whose playing it. He doesn’t even have any makeup on and he looks like Peter Pan! Pointy ears…

There is no doubt in my mind that boy is PP.

Yep, this interview definitely confirms two things:

    1) Peter Pan has already been cast.

    2) The actor has pointy ears.

The first thing heavily suggests that my previous post about “Rufio” being a code name for Peter Pan’s casting. Unless they casted Peter Pan with no public casting call, this would make sense.

It would make sense for them to cast PP without a casting call BUT then there is the Rufio casting call which is so very unsubtle. They could have picked ANY code name for PP: a name in another language that means the same as Peter, the could have used Paul, they could have used a name playing off of JM Barrie. But no, they chose a name instantly recognized as being associated with Peter Pan, and actually being “the Pan.”

Maybe that was the best they could do for Rufio fans due to rights issues?

And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Exactly. Hook being a TriStar film, Sony owns the rights to the film and all of its original characters. Disney/ABC would have to pay Sony for the rights to use Rufio, and it would be odd for Once to include a movie original character that Disney has no ties to whatsoever. Hence why I suspected it was simply being used as Peter Pan’s code name since that casting call went out.
