So what do you think Emma plans to do with all those lost boys? Become a social worker and find them all homes? Adopt them all herself?
[adrotate group="5"]December 3, 2013 at 3:22 pm #227808TheWatcherParticipantI think that since they are actually from our world, Emma will eventually let them go to their relatives. They aren’t bound to the town

I suspect they’ll go to the convent for the time being until they can be adopted out.
Watcher, some of those boys have been there decades or centuries. And probably from different worlds. John and Michael were from ours, but we know from earlier he lured some away from the FTL. Who knows where else the boys belong. I’d suspect their families are mostly gone.
Someone said on tumblr that Neal’s new job could be social worker to the Lost Boys. Who better! He was one himself, he’s been alone in our world. Besides Emma, he’s the best choice for knowing what those boys are thinking and needed at a time like this, in a strange new world.

He could also teach them how to survive in our world…. I really like this idea 😮 once again, why are we not writers for this show!!!

Jo makes a great point: most of their families are probably long dead. And that makes them orphans; traditionally nuns will take in orphans. And since they also run the school, it’s as good a place for them as any.

I would like to know what will happen to the lost boys, even if it’s just a line of dialogue.

I believe so. Because originally MM was supposed to be a nun and during the Coal Miners/Nun day, they were working out of the school. (someone correct me if I’m wrong)
I can see it being a line of dialogue.
Emma: “I took all the boys to the Convent”
Snow: “The nuns will see to their needs”

The only problem I see about the nuns taking on the lost boys is, if they could do that, why couldn’t they take on Hansel and Gretel in True North? Maybe people in the Storybrooke community will volunteer to take on a lost boy each.

Well Regina set up the Hansel and Gretel going to Boston to be in Foster Care situation back when she was trying to get Emma out of town. She was hoping that if she sent Emma out of town with the kids, something would happen to them because no one can leave. Regina was the one who made the phone calls to ensure getting them and Emma out of town. She told Emma that there were no empty homes in Maine.
But now that the Curse is broken and people have their memories and Regina and Emma are “truce-y” I can see the Nuns/Fairies opening their doors. (Just watch out for Blue)
