I’m thinking/hoping later on we’ll see Rapunzel/Tremaine finding out how to wake Anastasia in the past, so that the tear makes more sense. Maybe she’ll even have a prophecy leading her to Lucy specifically, because Tremaine had to be trying to wake Anastasia for years. It seems she was going to use Drizella’s “pure heart” in 7×06, so the prophecy would have to come after that. Or maybe the prophecy just told her it would have to be someone in her “family?” Victoria made the point of saying to Lucy that “we’re family” in this episode. Is it possible they’re blood-related somehow???

The whole neighborhood just needs to drink “One Little Tear,” so that the curse will dilute itself across everybody.
