I just figured they hadn’t shown us the heart because that would be too grisly for an 8:00 show, especially one that appeals to families.

I don’t think it’s too easy as much as I think it’s beside the point. We’ve always know Regina was framing first David and then MM; the supposed DNA test is just a part of that, and I’d image that the writers have always intended the main question to be whether Kathryn was alive or not. It’s always been a possibility that the heart didn’t belong to Kathryn and that the test results had been tampered with. It’s just a given that Regina could have made that happen.

Ok that makes sense. Ooo maybe Dr. Whale was in on tampering the results? He’s already hinted that he’s on Regina’s side when he called her after John Doe had brain activity.

Ever since Emma came to StoryBrooke things started to change; the clock started to work, David woke up, and currently Jefferson disapeured into a hat. I would say Emma brought some form of magic to StoryBrooke but doesn’t realize it.
As for Gold working “Mahic” I beleive Karhryn was hidden somewhere, maybe drugged. I kind of want it to be her heart because Emma would have to open up her mind to the unexplainable and FTL.

So first, I’m just putting it out there that wouldn’t Regina in FL have to physically remove the heart from Kathryn’s counterpart in FL in order to have it? I mean she had Graham’s heart because she tore it from the huntsman in FL – so are we assuming she did this to Kathryn’s FL counterpart so that Regina would have Katherine’s heart “on hand”? If the writers just do a dumb DNA testing accident route, i’m going to be disappointed.

Next, I see Katherine has roaming the woods. I think it is the type of deal that whenever someone tries to leave SB, something “magical” happens and they lose control/become disoriented. There has to be magic in SB – the place was created BY A CURSE. It is literally founded on magic. I really dont think anyone had anything to do with Kathryn’s disappearance. I think she tried to leave, was prevented by the magic of the curse, and ended up roaming around the forest till she found her way back. Regina just saw the scenario and decided she might as well take the opportunity to frame MM.

So magic in SB? Yes. But it is a unique, uncontrollable magic. Rumple isn’t going to be turning handsome men into roses anytime soon.

Kathryn does not have a counterpart in fairytale land. They are the same person Kathryn is really Abigail, i think. We are not certain if the Queen still has magic in the real world or not. Sometimes i think she does like with the mirrors and holding the huntsman’s heart in her hand and other times i think she doesn’t because why hasn’t she tried to fry anyone or take their heart.

I have a thought…what if when Kathryn’s car broke down, she got out of the car and ended up lost in the woods and passed the border of Storybrooke on foot, but instead of killing her as predicted, it actually caused her to become Abigail again with no memory of being Kathryn…so now she is lost *and* confused about what on earth happened to her. She wanders back into Storybrooke and is terrified by the cars because there are no cars in fairytale land.

This is purely speculation- I might be totally off base. I just thought it was a fun idea.

At first, AngieBelle, that is exactly what i thought happened. That when Kathryn crossed the boundary she somehow lost her memories or got confused and then didn’t know how to drive her car and that was why she crashed or something like that happened. And that she has been wandering around in the woods lost. How long has it been? Five days since she went missing? You could survive that. I really wish Kathryn had said something when Emma found her.

This is still my favorite theory as to where Kathryn has been. Wandering around in the forest confused.
