Had an aha moment while re-watching S1 ep6 when Regina tells Kathryn she “Lost someone once too” ….
Since Rumple added magic to the well’s water, which he said was special & “had the power to bring back that which one has lost”, I’m picking Regina will get ‘true love’ as it was “Lost” to her (be it her going back in time to Daniel or finding a new true love for the person she is now- which I like better), Henry gets the father he thinks he “lost”, Rumps his son etc.
Could be interesting to see how it affects everyone in town – will Nova & Grumpy find each other- I think Grumpy refers to loosing Nova 😉
Wonder what the fairies will get lol

I’m totally on board with this theory! Rumplestiltskin said in Heart of Darkness, “If you can bottle true love, you can do anything,” which supports this idea. Also, we’ve heard Rumple, Regina and Daniel all say, “True love is the most powerful magic of all.” Finally, Regina said in 1×22, “Magic here is unpredictable.” That makes me think the waters of Lake Gnostos will bring back that which is lost, and combined with the powerful magic of true love, will cause all sorts of unexpected things to happen. The executive producers have confirmed that magic works differently in our world. Namely, I think Rumplestiltskin will get his son back (that has to be the main reason he used the enchanted water to bring magic to our world). The fairies could potentially get their magic back, but not right away. Also, I think that Regina will see Daniel again. We know Noah Bean (who plays Daniel) is set to return for episode 2×5! 😀

I like this theory! And nothing happened in the season premier which would prove it false. I think it would take some time to bring back the things that are lost. So excited for the new season!
