I put this under the spoiler thread so those who want can write freely 😀
So, what if our “land without magic” becomes a land of magic, FTL magic, all over again. What do you think will happen if magic comes to Storybrook? Will August become human again? Will Mr. Gold become like Rumplestiltskin dropping down from the ceiling of his shop? What would that do to Mr. Gold’s search for Bae? Does Mr. Gold/ Rumple really want the magic back? Did he tie something into the ingredient of the curse to bring the magic to this new land the curse created, so he could have power here?
And if everyone remembers, then what? Will the folks who have Paige/ Grace want to return her to Jefferson?

Not only will we be able to see more of magic in SB, but hopefully people will start acting like their old selves. From where I stand, there’s a good and bad side to this.
Good:
If Emma were able to see everyone’s real identities resurfacing, it’ll help to convince her even more that FTL and it’s inhabitants are real. Gold might not only be able to “work some magic” that Emma could actually see, but might start reverting even more back into his old crazy, impish self. Maybe Emma will get to hear his iconic giggle? August’s transformation back into wood might stop, and Jefferson might be able to use his hat to it’s full extent. And yes, I really want Jefferson to get his daughter back. 😥Bad:
I also asked this question in another thread if anyone else thought that having people remember their past lives could have some bad consequences. While this is possible, throwing magic into the mix would just make it worse. People would remember their old grudges, and fights could break out. We might even get to see Moe French leading an angry crowd of people with torches trying to burn down Gold’s house shouting “Kill the beast!” 😯Even worse, it might hold up Gold’s search for Bae. The guy’s addicted to power, and putting him in a situation where he would be able to use magic again would get him sidetracked. It’ll be like dangling a piece of candy in front of someone with a large sweet tooth. And since Regina has the feeling that Gold wants the curse broken, he might take a chance to use magic again just to keep her off his back.

That describes an addict falling off the wagon. 😯 That man really can’t be trusted with magic. He was ready to give it up when there was no power behind the dagger, but if he gets that little taste back, it might make him have that monkey right back on his back. I really hope he doesn’t completely turn back into Rumple.
That would mean Hopper would turn back into a cricket, also.

This is what makes me think that Rumple didn’t design the curse so that breaking it would bring back magic. He wanted to be RID of his magic once and for all, so his son would want to be with him again. From Mr Gold’s perspective, “magic is coming” could mean that the curse is about to be broken and he’ll finally be free to leave town and go find Bae, as opposed to, “everyone’s magical powers are coming back”.

I THINK the magic changed Rumple/ Gold from a mild manner, maybe introspective, intelligent person to a aggressive, bullying, scheming person. Bae might not want to be with who his father has become.

Yes I love a good villain / protagonist whatever you want to call him… he is my favorite character.
