According to Michael Ausiello and Matt Mitcovich, There is a sizeable death in 2×16 The Miller’s Daughter, my bets are it’s Cora or Hook, probably Cora considering what Barbara Barnett said about Regina has a moment of utter happiness and a moment of utter devastation. What if both moments are one in the same? The moment She kills Cora?

[adrotate group="5"]February 22, 2013 at 5:16 pm #174849RumplesGirlKeymasterI think it will be Cora. I’ve been speculating that she wouldn’t make it to the season finale, and that the rest of the season will deal with Greg and the outside world. I think Regina will kill Cora, hopefully by crushing her heart (once she finds it…)

Let’s hope so. I really am growing tired of how much manipulation Cora gets away with, and I want Regina to open up her pretty eyes and face her mother once and for all. I hope the reason for Regina killing Cora is to protect Henry. I can envision a scenario in which Cora has the knife to control the Dark One, she will use it to try and harm Henry, but Regina will intervene by destroying the Dark One’s knife, thus saving Henry and ultimately undoing the Dark One’s curse.

I’ve been trying to figure out who Cora will want Rumple to kill first: Henry or Belle. I think these are the two most likely possibilities because I think her first goal is to really hurt Rumple.

I don’t think so, since those pictures are from “The Queen is Dead” (the episode before this one). Here is an entire thread where that topic is discussed: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=2943

Yes, good point. Cora probably thinks that killing Belle would hurt Rumple more than hurting Henry would, since I don’t think Cora knows about Henry being Rumple’s grandson. However, the reason I think she could go after Henry is because she wants consider’s Regina’s love for him to be a weakness that she wants to wipe out so that Regina will fully turn evil once and join Cora in her quest for power.

I think there is only so far they can take Cora’s character- so far she hasn’t shown any of the redeemable qualities that the other “villains” have shown. We may learn more about that in the next episode, but I am still hoping it is Cora. I think ultimately Cora’s pure desire for power (no matter who she harms) will lead to her demise. I would LOVE it if that scene includes Regina protecting Henry and destroying Cora in the process.

BUT, the spoilers also said that there will be something to look for concerning Rumbelle. So maybe Rumpel will appears to be dead but not actually really dead, for good.

Rumple is my favorite character but part of me hopes he’s the one that dies just for dramatic effect.

I hope you’re right about that if it is Rum.
Your profile pic always looks like cheddar cheese popcorn and then I realize it’s ducks. Throws me off every time. Then I feel bad for wanting to eat delicious baby ducks.
