Mich, I agree with something you said a few pages back: this major death is going to haunt me until this episode airs.

But that means Belle has to get her memories back really soon (like The Queen is Dead OR very early in The Miller’s Daughter) and I don’t know if that is going to happen with Rumple still in NYC at least until the end of The Queen is Dead. I know there is supposed to be a big Rumbelle moment in the Miller’s Daughter, but I understood that to be a starting point of getting her back.

Also, listening to the official podcast right now and H and K said that Rumple’s “trafficking in names” is probably a season 3 story.”

It’s a possibility! Except when the spoiler says a major death (and dead…is dead) that seems to suggest that it’s a final thing. Not an almost thing. So unless Rumple actually dies for a few seconds before Belle saves him (which would be nail biting and scary) I think the spoiler is indicating a death

My initial thought on this is that it’ll be Cora. Isn’t this ep meant to be a two parter with the previous ep? We could see how Cora was responsible for Snow’s mother, and then it’d be even more satisfying to see Cora die in this ep.

My other thought is that it’ll be the death of the Dark One…not killing Rumple, just killing his curse.

I hope it’s not Cora. She’s an amazing villain and I would personally like her to stick around until the end of the season at least. BB said “an amazing” moment happens between Rumple and Belle, so ill go with that theory.

Yes, I know that there’s the threat of Greg hanging around and if they killed off Cora before the season finale, they could have him step in and be a threat. However, I don’t really think they’ve built up Greg to do that. I mean they’ve given Cora practically the whole season to build her up, and while I love Barbara Hershey in the role, I still think Cora isn’t as good of a villain yet as Regina was last year to me. She definitely comes across as worse, but I actually think Regina’s actions were worse than Cora’s actions this year have been. Aside from her screwing with her daughter’s mind, I really haven’t seen Cora be that bad, imo. I mean she’s done standard run of the mill villain things, but they’ve hyped her all season to be this really big bad someone that even Regina and Rumple are scared of, and she hasn’t quite lived up to that hype yet, imo.

I guess it’s possible that if they do kill her off in “The Miller’s Daughter” she will have lived up to that hype, but I’d rather they kill her/banish her at the end of the season since they’ve devoted so much time to her already even if it is more predictable to do that ways.

I think Cora is either going to do some very terrible things OR tell us what she intends to do in the next few episodes. Her grand plan and end game are going to be reveled and it’s going to make us hate her even more than we already do. And because the plan has been reveled, she has to die.
