Maybe is the Mad Hatter since he won’t be back โ

I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thing happened during the Miller’s Daughter. ๐
February 24, 2013 at 2:33 am #175204RumplesGirlKeymasterThey think Cora is dead only to have her appear about 3 episodes down the line. That sounds very plausible. Especially since her heart isn’t in her body. She could trick The Charmings, Rumple, Emma, ect. into thinking they crushed her heart but really it was one of the hearts Regina has in her vault.

1) How did Henry Sr meet her at wonderland?
2) What worlds has she crossed?
3) Lancelot’s storyline, I’m sure it’s bound to come and Cora obviously needs to appear in it
4) How did she know about the details of the curse?@AntBee wrote:

I hope it’s not Cora. She’s an amazing villain and I would personally like her to stick around until the end of the season at least.
Yes, I know that there’s the threat of Greg hanging around and if they killed off Cora before the season finale, they could have him step in and be a threat. However, I don’t really think they’ve built up Greg to do that. I mean they’ve given Cora practically the whole season to build her up, and while I love Barbara Hershey in the role, I still think Cora isn’t as good of a villain yet as Regina was last year to me. She definitely comes across as worse, but I actually think Regina’s actions were worse than Cora’s actions this year have been. Aside from her screwing with her daughter’s mind, I really haven’t seen Cora be that bad, imo. I mean she’s done standard run of the mill villain things, but they’ve hyped her all season to be this really big bad someone that even Regina and Rumple are scared of, and she hasn’t quite lived up to that hype yet, imo.
I guess it’s possible that if they do kill her off in “The Miller’s Daughter” she will have lived up to that hype, but I’d rather they kill her/banish her at the end of the season since they’ve devoted so much time to her already even if it is more predictable to do that ways.
I thought the same thing at the start, seeing as Regina was an amazing villain as the EQ, HOWEVER Cora is definetly worse than her or Rumple.
1) Her actions definitely rival Regina’s, Don’t forget she basically killed off a good portion of the refugees on the island back in FTL.
2) She has no remorse for her actions at all. thus the “love is weakness” Quote, she cares for no one, alive or dead (you could argue that she cared for Regina, however it seems her real plan is to take the Dagger), i suppose you could say she’s a female Voldemort. At least Rumple and Regina have showed real emotion throughout the series and some Remorse.
3) She is smart, and manipulative. Just look at how easily she was able to lure Regina back in, and how she is explaining to her now that killing everyone is “best for her” and the fact she targeted Rumple at the worst time in 2×12, sucking upto him only to kiss him, right after the love of his life lost her memories.
Don’t forget the screen time difference as well, Lana and Robert are regulars, so we are obviously going to see more of them, Barbara, being the established actress that she is probably doesn’t wanna stick around for that long (Which is ashame)
February 25, 2013 at 1:30 pm #175405RumplesGirlKeymasterI think we are going to see Cora as a much worse villain than Regina in this episode. Whereas the writers gave us “The Stable Boy” to show us what Regina was like before Cora killed Daniel (and they gave us “A Desperate Soul” to humanize Rumple) I think this episode is going to show that Cora has always been power hungry and manipulative. They won’t make her a sympathetic figure in her first flashback episode.

I agree. I think Regina was set up to be a sympathetic villain from the very beginning. Cora, on the other hand, will be the exact opposite. I think the writers are going to show that Cora was always greedy and power hungry, even as a young woman. That’s the difference between Regina and Cora. Regina wanted love, Cora wanted power.
February 25, 2013 at 1:56 pm #175422the fairestParticipantOk, I don’t know who will die, but I do know who WON’T die.
Emma, Snow, Charming, Rumpel, Regina and Henry are all safe. They’re the driving force of the show and removing any one of them from the story would destroy the plot and possibly kill a major fanbase.
Nealfire – His true identity has just been revealed and the writers obviously have a ton of material in the works for him. Especially with the recent news that he may also be Peter Pan or a Lost Boy.
Belle – She just lost her memory and has yet to regain it. The writers have stated numerous times that the remainder of Belle’s season 2 story arc will involve her trying to regain her memory and falling back in love with Rumpel. Killing her before any of that happens would be a terrible move.
Ruby/Red – She’s the best friend of Snow and Charming and is an effective weapon against their enemies. She’s too useful to kill off. Plus, I don’t see how killing Ruby would push the story forward in any way.
Ok, now onto the characters who may be at risk for being killed off.
Cora – I mean, come on. Home girl deserves it. However, if the writers kill her off this early in the season, then who take her place as season 2’s big bad?
Hook – It’s a possibility, but I still don’t see it happening. He’s a series regular and has yet to get his revenge on Rumpel. However, judging by the promo for next week’s episode, it looks like Hook does manage to stab Rumpel. So, he runs the risk of Neal or Emma coming after him.
The Dwarves – To be perfectly honest, I think the big death is going to be Grumpy. He’s a character that is moderately popular, but not popular enough to kill the show’s ratings. He’s a notable character, but not so important that his death would leave a hole in the plot. He’s the perfect candidate.
Granny – See above.
Now, having said all that, the person who will actually die will probably be Snow’s nanny. She was seen in one of the promo pics standing behind Regina and Cora. Regina was also holding a heart. I know that doesnโt count as a big death, but the show has made a habit of hyping up things that really aren’t that big. Like someone else on here already said, in the end, the big death will either be a faceless nobody or no one at all.

You can scratch those two from the list pretty safely. Lee and Colin were tweeting pics of getting drunk at the pub together just over a day ago, so odds are both characters are alive and kicking and they’re shooting at the moment.
Sidenote: I just officially decided that Grumpy needs to join Hook’s crew to help sail his ship back to FTL.

I thought the same thing – and noticed how interested Grumpy was in how Hook’s ship could travel between worlds in “Tiny.” I think (along with others) that there may be a decision time at the end of this season – where some will stay in Storybrooke and some will return to FTL. I don’t think we have seen the end of modern-day FTL!
I think the person to die will be Cora. I don’t see how it could be anyone else – but I think it may be a “fake” death so that she could return at some point.
February 25, 2013 at 9:10 pm #175492mich7ParticipantJust saw this…last video for the scoop at about 4:25 on the video. While episode 16 has the sizable death there is also a minor death in episode 15.
