Yes Malificient  would not work for Rumple-momma.  She might work for momma to Tink and Belle, or a predecessor to Tink as replacement for title of “Green”.   I just liked the Malificient-Malcolm name alliteration.

There is something though about this idea that magic “touches” people as it is something BF says to Bae.  Long as they do not bring  in the 7th son of a 7th son thing (well Rumple could be but Bae clearly was not).  I think there is a legend that gives you the gift of sight or something.  Malcolm though, he seems like he might not have kept track of his progeny.

Ah yes. “you’re not untouched by dark magic are you?” from the Return. Hm. Good point.

Creepy thought but what Mal chose to do to himself, BF did to August.

This is even creepier when you think about how much August resembles Malcolm, and how pixie dust grows in trees.

Where exactly did Gepetto find this tree he carved?

The tree that Geppetto carved Pinocchio from was the same type of enchanted tree that Geppetto carved the magic wardrobe from which Emma went through. That tree we saw in “The Stranger” when the BF gave instructions to Geppetto to fashion the wardrobe. It was supposedly the “last of its kind” and it was growing amongst other trees in the Enchanted Forest.

And there’s that whole “is magic dying” thing again….
