If Malcolm had to believe himself young to be PP hence giving up Rumple (“A child can’t have a child”) then why does he acknowledge Henry as his great-grandson? Surely by acknowledging Henry as his great-grandson, PP is also acknowledging that he has a son and grandson, the thing he needed to let go of to become PP?

Except he’s now been PP for like 300+ years. He’s so deluded he no longer even really remembers Malcolm, I think. I think he has fully believed himself to be PP.

yh i think hes so deluded for a moment he thought he could have it all.. be young an be a father.. in some weird way he thinks he cant do no wrong and him abandoning rumple is wrong so maybe he thought he could fix it so its another thing he “outsmarted” (wrong choice of word?)

like there isn’t nothing peter pan cant do why not be a dad aswell…
