    That makes no sense?!? I’m hoping it’s just an error, but it was officially released by ABC. Then again, so was that Facebook thing, and I don’t consider that canon either.

    I agree that nothing is canon except what is in the show, everything else could be changed.

    I know Emma threw Charming’s sword at the Mal/dragon to get the love potion. This season began with a Sleeping Beauty story so that get’s me wondering that Maleficent just maybe alive in human form.

    I think Maleficent is dead unfortunately. She cursed Aurora before Regina cast the dark curse. Aurora thought she’d only been asleep for a year when in reality 28 years had past.

    Maybe we’ll get an Aurora backstory and get to see more of Maleficent that way (fingers crossed).
