Mary Margaret/Snow’s HAIR

hey Onclers,

i was wondering what you guys thought about why mary margaret’s hair is short. Everyone else in story brooke looks more or less the same….nothing as drastic as having a different hair length…other than maybe regina. Snow still had long hair when the curse happened so she must have cut it after that.

maybe it’s not a big thing…..maybe the crew wanted to save money and time by not putting extensions or wigs on her all the time 🙂

Maybe they thought she looked too much like Snow with the long hair and they wanted us to have a little bit of doubt at the beginning of the series as to whether or not they really were cursed fairy tale characters.

All I have to say is that sometimes SNOW’S hair looks like it was styled with a MIX MASTER. Like on her formal wedding day. … but then it looks perfect after she fights someone in hand to hand combat…. Always give me a chuckle.

I love MM short hair and wish I had the face style and hair texture to wear it.

I think short hair really suits her. It might also be a nod to Maggie (Mary Margaret) O’Connell from Northern Exposure.

Short hair would have looked completely wrong on Snow in fairy tale land, though, so they really didn’t have a choice there.
