I was wondering if you knew if (or when) Once Upon a Time‘s Neal would go to Neverland? Based on some cast photos that were tweeted, it looked like he might show up there. –Allie
Or, Michael Raymond-James was just photo bombing his pals on their own set…? Because Neal’s road home will not be an easy one. “This show never seems to be short in the obstacles department,” Raymond-James shares. “It’s one of those things where the answer to one problem usually leads to seven more problems that one needs to overcome. So there’s some tough sledding ahead, I’ll say that.”How has Once Upon a Time‘s Emma not questioned or had a glimmer of hope that Neal might have been saved? –ratinhos
Fair point. So we asked Jennifer Morrison if Emma might start to somehow “sense” that Neal survived his portal plunge. But she maintained, “They have no sense in Neverland what happened with Neal.” And as for Emma’s instincts, “Because of everything she has been through — and especially having been through so much loss with Neal — for her own sanity, she has to assume that he is dead.”Any clues on Regina’s Once Upon a Time love interest? –Natalie
You think you’re anxious to meet Regina’s romantic interest? How about poor Lana Parrilla, who when we saw her on the set Thursday had yet to start shooting that storyline. But with an eye on it, she said, “I’m like, ‘What?! I don’t think she’s kissed anyone in like 200 years.’ Well, [except for] the Huntsman. But there is something coming up. And I will say: Regina has not met him. But maybe the audience has.”[adrotate group="5"]October 4, 2013 at 2:13 pm #213934RumplesGirlKeymasterI love how they keep dancing around the RH love interest. As if we don’t know it already.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 4, 2013 at 2:28 pm #213938SlurpeezParticipantAh, well, the course of true love never did run smoothly. Yet, I believe that Neal will make it to NL, and sooner than we think. I don’t think he was just “photo-bombing” since Eddy has confirmed to TV Guide that Neal will indeed make it to NL. I don’t think Eddy would’ve just given that away if we hadn’t already seen the photos of MRJ with the NL crowd in Ginny’s tweets.

October 4, 2013 at 2:51 pm #213941RumplesGirlKeymasterI am totally taking off my shipping goggles. I want that known.
It make sense for Neal to go to NL eventually as his father and his son are there. AND Nealfire spent a TON of time in NL and he has history with the place. He should be there eventually.
Still with my shipping goggles off, there’s this:
The instinct of “can you tell if your TL is dead or not?” seems to be wonky:
1) Charming COULD tell that Snow had eaten the apple
2) Rumple COULD NOT tell that Belle was alive and locked away in Regina’s tower or in SB.
So…it seems to be an emotional thing and only works when the writers need it to. lol.

That’s a good point, but Snow didn’t die. She was just cursed. So, maybe TL can only tell when someone is put under a sleeping curse, but interestingly though, Snow couldn’t tell that Charming had gone under the sleeping curse until she herself met him in the red room in “Into the Deep.” She was surprised to meet Charming in the dream world instead of Henry. So, I think it was just a convenient plot device that the writers used in 1×21. I don’t think TL is a real barometer of death or curses, except of course to break a curse. Both Snowing and Rumbelle demonstrably have true love because it could overcome the sleeping curse and the dark one curse, respectively.

October 4, 2013 at 3:24 pm #213947RumplesGirlKeymasterHonestly, I think this is a case of “what do the writers need?” And I say that without any goggles. Even if Emma could feel Neal being alive, I’d still say “well that’s wonky” given Rumbelle’s situation and Snowing situation in the first half of the second season.

I always thought that Rumple was unable to sense her because he… er… rejected her (kind of). There is obviously a very strong bond there, but I don’t think it was FULLY there because Rumple did not allow TL kiss to un-curse him and he denied her love for him, and thus didn’t allow them to fully connect/commit on an emotional level.
That’s what I always thought btw, well before we met Hook, so no shipping goggles present for me 😉

October 4, 2013 at 4:06 pm #213965Twice Upon A TimeParticipantYAY for once- no pun intended we have SF questions on an interview any way I think if Neal doesn’t show up to NL before the 7 episode them he may not until the second half of the season -before you throw fish at me hear me out if it really is MRJ photobombing then I think Neal will be the force that brings the JR6 home beans portal whatever

She didn’t seem to think otherwise until Cora told her. I loved that Aurora moment, because she showed real character rejecting Cora despite how badly she wanted to know that information, but she knew Cora for what she was. Eeeeeviiiillll.
edit:Here is the dialog, from Broken and Into the deep.
Mulan told Aurora that Phillip would die if the wraith took him.
Mulan: He never had to. Everything he does, he does for you. And now, he’s going to die for you. Love is sacrifice. Something you clearly don’t understand.
Aurora tells Cora no–
Cora: And what stakes do you have in their cause, Princess? It’s not as though you’d travel back with them. Oh… What a sweet, misguided notion. Did you really think you could have a life there? Find another prince? You’ve forgotten Phillip already.
Aurora: Phillip is in my heart every moment of every day. If there was anything I could do to bring him back, I would.
Cora: Is that so? What if I told you that when a wraith consumes a soul, it merely travels to another realm? But that soul could be brought back to this world? Show me a little courtesy, and I may explain how.
(Aurora kicks the tray of food at Cora.)
Cora: Oh! You stupid, ungrateful girl!
Aurora: I’m not as stupid as you think, nor my loyalty so easily bought. You can bring me a hundred meals, and make me a hundred promises, but I will never help you!
(Cora magically throws Aurora against the wall, knocking her out.)
