Any chance I could get some scoop on my favorite Once Upon a Time character, Robin Hood? –Nicole

Horowitz was a bit less forthcoming on that topic, offering only the teasey, “We sure hope so!”Are they somehow going to retcon Tom Ellis’ Robin Hood? Maybe one of them was never “the real” Robin Hood, and there was a Prince and the Pauper like situation where the two switched identities?

That’s a good point. I’m surprised they decided that they have to come up with an in-show reason for Robin Hood’s change in appearance. I thought they would have just left it as “he was re-cast, nothing more.”
Anyway, Adam’s reluctance to answer much about Lily honestly makes me suspect that’s who Agnes Bruckner is playing even more.

That’s a good point. I’m surprised they decided that they have to come up with an in-show reason for Robin Hood’s change in appearance. Re RH: they need to leave it there. If they do some sort of “he wasn’t the real RH!” that’s going to throw an unnecessary curve ball that undermines a lot of past things said and done.

This just seems like a failed attempt at the show runners trying to cover their tracks. It’s no secret there was a recast, and by now, no one really cares. The general audience probably doesn’t even remember Tom Ellis as Robin Hood in Lacey. Why on Earth would the writers even give an in-show explanation? To do so is to pretend like they always planned the current story, when clearly, they’re making it up as they go. It’s pretty clear that the writers decided to make Robin into Regina’s soul mate and give him the tattoo sometime after Lacey but before they’d written Quite a Common Fairy and re-cast Sean Maguire as RH.

Do u guys think it has anything to do with the Soul Mate fairy dust thing. Like what if they are trying to say that the man that is Regina’s real love is the Tom Ellis RH, not this RH.
Hmmm,,,@WickedRegal… what if you theory is coming true and Zelena really is alive in the past screwing around with the timeline? Would explain why she is frolicking with Marian.

I think they’re seriously running out of ideas, and are just jumbling together whatever they can. It’s completely unnecessary to address the old Robin Hood, but I think I know how they’re going to do it, and I don’t like it…I’m 99.9% positive most of you won’t either.
I’m kinda thinking that Zelena put some type of transformation spell on Robin Hood back in the day, hence the photos of her filming with Marian. Probably Zelena could see that Regina and Robin were about to run into one another, and to intervene….she cursed him with another appearance so that his Lion Tattoo wouldn’t be seen by Regina.
It still doesn’t make an ounce of sense because like RG said…Belle instantly recognized Robin Hood!!! This will be the MOTHER RETCON of ALL RETCONS!

I’m almost fifty percent positive Zelena is in the past screwing stuff up….people are about to start disappearing in Storybrooke because of what she’s doing.
