Yes, but cookies will be needed….and a space in the corner to huddle and rock ….I can see them leaving it that way for the hiatus.

You tell me. My fear is that this’ll be situation that will persist until the winter finale to allow wiggle room to jump start Captain Swan and the triangle. 🙁

I don’t get why they would say “a town full of people he grew up with”. Only 3 he would know would be his father, Blue and Hook. No one else was around when he was, nearly 300 years ago.

I actually think that is how it’s going to play out. They have to explore CaptainSwan, it’s too popular and it’s been hinted at for too long for them to bypass it now. I think Emma and Neal will confess their feelings to each other, but Emma’s not going to be ready to let Neal back in and once Neal finds out about Tamara’s betryal, he’ll be too heartbroken and messed up (having been betrayed once already by his Papa) to want a serious relationship. Enter CaptainSwan which will slowly muddle into CaptainSwanFire and then finally SwanFire.

    I don’t disagree, but… winter finale? That’ll be hell of a long time for a reunion! 🙁

Yes that IS odd. The only thing I could think is that maybe Bae grew up from 14 to 24 in SB while Gold had no idea who he was (and somehow he hid from Regina…..)..but I don’t think that would make much sense. He was trying to get away from magic–why would he go to SB and live there? No one would remember him (other than Regina) because of the “fog” effect, so he would have gone through what Henry did…..

I’m inclined to think it’s an error of reporting.

I agree. I ‘m always surprised when reporters don’t know the ins and outs of this show like everyone on these forums. They know Neal is from FTL but they may not even watch the show!!

As Michael Raymond James previews, “Neal still feels some guilt” for bailing on his love 10 years ago, “but he felt he didn’t have a choice in the matter. I mean, we’re talking about her saving a townful of people that he grew up with, people from Fairytale Land. So in Neal’s mind, he jumped on a grenade in the name of the greater good.”

It’s a direct quotation from MRJ himself that Baelfire grew up with the people of FTL. That seems an inconsistency on the actor’s part, not on the reporting job. I think what MRJ meant is that Baelfire feels somehow responsible for the people of FTL, because he is the cause of Rumple uprooting everyone to this world.

"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

Oh you’re right. It is from MRJ. My bad!
I still think it means Neal is going to be involved with the fail safe, though. And that is what sends him back to the EF.
