I’m still holding out hope that Belle has a Storybrooke identity of some sort…and I want Lacey to be her name because that would indicate the coming of a Belle centric episode- perhaps one in which she gets her memories back.

If she didn’t have a Storybrooke name, she wouldn’t protest so much against people calling her Belle…if she had complete amnesia, I would think her reaction would be something more like “Is that my name?”

I could be wrong, but I don’t really expect to get a lot of Bae’s backstory until next season, and the narrative has been leaving Belle hanging lately- we are due to get back to her.

I don’t know know about NealFire. In the promo’s for The Queen is Dead (The Canadian one) NealFire talks about how our world wasn't his first stop after he left FTL. And many speculate it's because he was in Neverland for a long time, and only came to our world 28 years ago and has been aging since then. So it is possible they are going to do his backstory out of order, they've done it before, but it would be a lot missing.

Where is Lacey and how do you know Lacey is his fake birthplace? 😀

We don’t know that for sure, it’s just speculation based on the fact that New Jersey was the location mentioned on Neal’s wanted poster, and there’s a town called Lacey in NJ.

OK I think it’s Belle centric (YAY) With Robert Carlyle’s tweet in mind, I think we might see it centred around the pair of them.

Lacey is a FRENCH girl name, like Belle. Her memory is hanging together like lace, thin and fragile. So maybe this is a name she chooses for herself, seeing the name Belle does not mean anything to her anymore.
Rumpel might be a bit fragile too after being attacked by Hook, which may be another reference.

And lace is a form of porcelain… like a certain smashed cup? Chip, come back to us!

I think this is spot on! I was hoping it would focus on the BF cause I really need some backstory the Sneaky Fairy, but if this the Rumbelle reunion episode then BRING. IT. ON!!
Plus, we’re getting two new characters introduced in this episode. I posted this in the “Keith and Thief” thread but it says that Keith chases women and the Thief steals magic from Rumple in FTL. I think Belle will be let out of the hospital and go back to the library; Keith will try to *chase* Belle, like he stole magic from Rumple in FTL, which will prompt Rumple to go into over drive to get her back.

    Wow, good thinking! Nice work.

Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

It is of old French origin, and Lacey and its variants may also be used in reference to lace, the delicate fabric made of netted thread.

Rumplestiltskin spins thread/ straw into gold… In Once Upon a Time I think he spins straw into gold, but in many tellings of the story it’s thread.
