Captain Prosthetic Hand just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
😆 😆 😆
I doubt anybody would call him that, but that’s really funny!
Personally, I like the idea. The prosthetic would always represent an element of his dark side — a part of what made him who he is. Otherwise, with his own hand, he’ll still have his past, but then he’d just be Killian Jones. With the prosthetic, there will always be a reminder of Captain Hook. I really think it’d compliment the character in modern-day story telling.
I think we might get to see this because just saying if hook has his hook on and is just walking down main street in storybook everybody will like “well, I guess that’s captain hook” and it will back to Rumple easy. I believe either Cora or some other person will give a mechanical or real hand just to keep up normal world appearances,
Keeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry
Just like Ash. It’d be cooler if Hook attached a chainsaw to his stump instead than a robot hand though. Captain Chainsaw.
Hook should’ve stuck his arm into the magic pond, but after 250 years I guess he’s used to the way things are now.

That’s a good question. My guess would be no, but Hook doesn’t have to have a Hook to be Hook, It could be like the bald guy called Curly kind of thing.
That is true though the only other reason for calling him Hook could be a play on hook, line and sinker which would be problematic since he is a pirate. 😀
