Are we going to get any more flashbacks to Snow and Charming’s past on Once Upon a Time? —Mark

We’ll get more of the happy couple’s early days and we’ll also get to see more of Bandit Snow. “There will be flashbacks for Snow and Charming where what happens in the past has direct relevance to what’s happening in the present story,” executive producer Adam Horowitz says. –Snow helps Ariel get to NL from FTL of the past (this is a small scene or two in 306)
–Ariel is in NL of the past (for most of 306)
–In 307 she is sucked through the portal by the JR and ends up in SB.

If RG is right and this is about 3×6, then based on Adam’s comments, I think Ariel could play a key role in helping to save Charming’s life.
Here’s hoping that those flashbacks include information about how to cure Dreamshade poisoning without having to sacrifice someone else.
We saw Ariel retrieve something from Mr. Gold’s shop. Could it have been the dark candle which took Cora’s life but spared Gold’s? Hopefully not. Maybe Ariel retrieved pixie dust from Mr. Gold’s shop since we know he likes to collect fairy objects (e.g. wands).

The question is one of timeline. So this is what I think:

Perhaps the mermaids attacked in 301 because they saw Ariel get sucked through the portal.

Good point! Rumple must know of something. But does this mean that Rumple (and Nealfire) join back up with the rest sooner than expected?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"In those pics we’ve seen of Ariel. I never picked up on her leaving Golds Shop. I sure hope it wasn’t the candle. There is no ones life I would want sacrificed to save Charming. There has to be another way.
I’ve been thinking about the way this was worded again. It mentions we’ll get more of Snowing AND we’ll get more of BanditSnow but that doesn’t mean they’d have to be together does it?
We just had a Snowing episode with 3×02 so it seems we’re we’d be getting another one super soon (though I was also confused as to why Rumple’s dad would be in 3×08 and 3×11 as well so close together, especially having a Rumple episode 3×04 so what do I know?
I think we’ll definitely get Bandit Snow in 3×06 and then Snowing…whenever it really relates to what’s going on. I don’t think they’ll wrap up the SaveCharming thing til closer to the end of the NL eps. I see it lasting more than just a couple and we just had Snowing. Maybe by 3×09 or something?
Also when are we getting Emma backstory?? I thought we were supposed to learn more about her time as a bail bondsperson in the first half but it seems like we’re full til at least 3×08 but with Rumple’s dad showing up, I imagine that would be at least 3×09…
Basically I’m confused but I think the two teases are separate and that BanditSnow will have history with Ariel and then the Snowing thing will be a different section of the timeline. Maybe. Just a thought.

The Snowing doesn’t have to be flashback. Snowing exists in all time frames, so I think Kat might be right: two different thing happening here.
1) Snowing in present day as I’m sure Charming’s dilemma comes out around the time of Ariel’s episode (or soon after)
2) More Bandit Snow which is obviously 306 given the set pictures
As for the rest of Kat’s Q’s I can help you out there
1) With Rumple’s father, depends on if you’re on #TeamBrothers or not but Phee has suggested that 308 is actually a PP episode with hints of Rumple and 311 is a Rumple episode
2) No Emma’s backstory this first half of the season. A and E have said second half though
3) 309 is the Henry adoption story and most likely Regina centric (as well as SB of the past)
310 is an utter mystery

As to the different timelines: Snowing absolutely is in all of them! That being said…the question was specifically about flashbacks and they said:

which is what I was going off of. So it sounds like we’ll get some of their early days when it’s relevant to what’s going on now, and we’ll also get Bandit Snow but that they don’t necessarily have to be in the same episode. At least that’s what I think based on the way it’s worded.
