Not really on the show they use the SB names in FTL, they use the FTL hence MM is still used in SB no one uses the name Snow. Besides she would have stated both names insteald of just Red.

There is no reason really why Charming would still call Snow Mary-Margaret. I think we will see Red again in Storybrooke.

I think it’s really hard to judge. Meghan was just stating that yes, she’ll be back in some form and capacity. When she gave this interview, that’s all she knew. There are no scripts yet. A and E probably just told her that they’d like her to guest star…but what in what capacity, I doubt even A and E even fully know. They used her in both SB and FTL this past season.

It’s one thing how it is used on the show, and I am not even sure if they use it all consequently, not always paying attention to it, but guess they mostly do.

But fans and media use the names very sure often interchangeably.

And in interview situations I would be cautious to weigh one’s words, not even those of professionally trained, well experienced PR people, even less when it’s a rather unprepared interview.

RumplesGirl already wrote, at this point the next season is not set in detail. I don’t worry if they bring her back as Red in flashbacks or a Red/Ruby in present time or both, I just wish for them writing a good story/plot for Red/Ruby, be it as guest star in one episode or as recurring character.

I think they use the SB names to keep the two separate for people still even though most people know the true names in SB.
