We met a few of the Camelot characters tonight. Obviously, the guy in the movie theater is Merlin (Sword and Stone playing in the background…not subtle). Did you get any real sense of the new characters? What is the prophecy Arthur keeps speaking of? Where is Merlin now? Is Lancelot still alive?
[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"While I think the usher is probably Merlin, I am also wondering if it is a red herring and he is actually someone just acting as Merlin’s messenger, perhaps someone like Archimedes (yes he wasn’t in the original Arthurian myths and that does seem to be where they are basing things on rather than Sword in the Stone). The writers something like to play with us fans with things like that :).

I don’t like Arthur for some reason. I already predict that guy has some hidden evulz about him.
Didn’t rumple say something about a magic tree this episode (I was partially distracted by a talkative sister constantly asking questions.) And didn’t Nimue turn Merlin into a tree? Maybe that’s where he is in present day.

Keeper Of Tamara's Taser , Jafar's Staff, Kitsis’s Glasses , Ariel’s Tail, Dopey's Hat , Peter Pan’s Shadow, Outfit, & Pied Cloak,Red Queen's Castle, White Rabbit's Power To World Hop, Zelena's BroomStick, & ALL MAGICI was annoyed that they chopped up the Sword in the Stone so much and it didn’t make sense with Little Emma’s entering etc. Not the best Disney movie ever but it has its moments.

In at least one version, Nimue tricks Merlin (who has been lusting after her for ages and following her around) into teaching her a bit of magic. Then she traps him either in a cave under some rocks or inside a tree using the magic (it varies, as do most tales that old).

Last thing I saw the actor in, he was a terrorist, but I didn’t really get a shady vibe from him as Arthur, (yet).

Alas they’re done with Will, I’d be shocked if we ever see him again.

Once the Knights decided to keep the information about the dagger a secret they immediately became shady.
I wonder if they will have Emma remember Merlin. That might be a point of contention later on. He knew who she was and still left her to fulfill her fate as the savior. Couple that with what the Apprentice did to Lily, it creates a juicy story to explore.
It bothers me a bit that Emma keeps bumping into people who are magical, tell her about magic, tell her things that are otherworldly and still she didn’t believe a lick of what Henry told her back in S1

Ingrid wiped her memory of her didn’t she. Emma shouldn’t have remembered she had magic from the carnival fiasco. But wait, she only wiped her memory when Emma came to SB… So, yeah. Hmmm.
