    Ah, yes. Time. *hides*

The second half is possible. So once they have the drawing they start knowing which kid they need and checking. I still think PP needs those kids for a reason and that’s why he won’t let them leave.

Has somebody a idea what could be Milahs past. We don’t know anything about her life before her marriage. ow does she paint so good? And why was Rumple so proud of her for making the shawl? I mean it sounded like that was the first piece she make (fast learner- good teacher), but that is wierd in this time? Or not?

Is there maybe a fairy tale that could fit, a story of a painter.

    Good question, Tiara.

I think based on how happy she was with Rumple before he came back from war, Milah probably came from similar circumstances and background as Rumple. I don’t think she was unhappy being a peasant, she was unhappy being married to the village coward. But I’m willing to bet that her family was slightly more prosperous than Rumple’s. Women of this time period would be expected to know how to weave and sew as that was part of the “womanly” duties. The fact that she was a great artist (something of leisure and not practical) but not so good with the sewing at first might suggest that her family was a little better off and allowed Milah to indulge in the arts.

Last week I actually created a thread with the same topic entitled “Who drew the picture of Henry?“

I totally missed that you made that thread! I really only look at the first few new posts, so I probably should have tried the new search thing first.

Dr. Whale also draws. We assume he could not have been around back then, but…Time issues!

Ok, new crack theory. Could it be that Milah was for their marriage a gypsy, searching for something else? She would come around and would have be a more creative person and the people are also more avoided by the people. And of course she can hold her liqueur. This would also be a motive why Rumple was so cruel to Jimminy.

As soon as Milah became unhappy in her marriage she wanted to flee, to the point where she sunk out and left, without saying goodbye to her son. And of course her dreams of adventure were lived out as a pirate, who like gypsies of the sea. Hmmm. It’s interesting but I don’t know if those qualities show her to by gypsy or just a pirate at heart.
