Walsh is the Wizard of Oz and was actually a really nice guy before Zelena made him her monkey minion. I’m just thankful (for Emma’s sake) that Walsh was originally a man and not a monkey. Had it not been for the fact that Walsh tried to kill Emma before, they may have had a chance. I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen though, given the fact that Chris Gorham is a series regular on another very successful show Covert Affairs.

I found MonkeySwan completely hilarious because Emma slept with a flying monkey LOL. However, it’s kind of grown on me a little bit.
How much of Walsh’s actions were actually controlled by Zelena? Zelena may have just given Walsh the order, “keep the saviour away from Storybrooke by any means necessary” but I doubt she would have told him “date her and ask her to marry you” unless Zelena was just doing it for the laughs “haha I’m going to make the saviour sleep with one of my flying monkeys” It would be funny if she did though.
Walsh spent 8 months dating Emma, he could’ve killed her before she got her memories back and Emma wouldn’t have had a clue what was happening. Killing her would have been a surefire way to keep her away from Storybrooke but he didn’t.
Then we discover Walsh was actually a wizard before a flying monkey. How much of the man Emma dated was the real Walsh, and how much was the flying monkey?
