I read this yesterday about Belle leading them to find the dagger. Very depressing. I wonder if the Once writers think of everyone hating the amnesia storyline. Last year was okay, but a rehash is horrible. I always hated amnesia storylines, and this one sucks. Belle is turning into the Whipping Boy of Once. A part of me wishes they’d just never made her a regular if I knew what they were going to do with her.

I think Rumbelle fans are just frustrated. I know they put Snowing through the ringer last year, and I’m a huge Snowing fan, but at least they got a few nice moments last season. We had a brief kiss in the premiere, a short indoor picnic scene, and then “The Outsider” before it was literally shot to h-e-double hockey sticks. I think the drama has got to the point that it’s not engaging anymore. It’s just to the point that it’s time to fish or cut bait.

I think the only reason that Belle may be responsible for pointing them in the right direction of the dagger is that Greg has to witness something…it has more to do with him and where they are taking his storyline than it has to do with Belle. We know from spoilers that Rumbelle will reunite(or that Rumple helps Belle get her memory back) so Cora’s dagger plan is going to be thwarted at some point so that he can help Belle.

I agree with this totally we have had 3 people who lost their memories which are Sneezy, Belle, and David.

We have had 3 people framed for murder Snow, Regina and Red. It seems when they get ahold of something they just keep using it as a pattern for another episode.

Still like to know how Cora captured the Giant and how Hook got the old bean from the Giant. It seems like they just have either a lot of missing parts all over the place in my opinon. 😕

Not to mention the whole “mysterious person” game has been done to death on this show already. We had August in Season 1, and now we have Neal and Greg this Season. Greg is basically serving the same role as August, except with different motives for being in Storybrooke. Dr. Whale is also in this category, in regards to the mystery concerning his FTL character. I get that unanswered questions are what keeps us watching, but I feel they can create more interesting plot points rather than rehashing things.

I’ve been thinking the same thing, about this being that if she doesnt remember who anyone is how can she know about the dagger, there is no way that Rumple would give it to her, or even tell her of it after her stunt with the cup.

On the subject of the writers repeating storylines I dont think this part is being repeated, I think that the writers had to do something like this to really make Rumple hurt and to futher other storylines like Greg’s and Hook’s and Rumple’s. That being said the whole framing someone for murder has run its course, as well as the whole true love is the most powerful magic, magic always comes with a price, and the whole ripping out someones heart. I think that in the we will by the end of this season, or at least next season not need to worry about any new characters which need a backstory. I dont think it is a bad idea with Greg because it was short lived and i think we will not need anymore of his backstory. As for August and Neal/ Bae i think those two have advantanced the story line a lot. I dont think we even have to worry that Neal is Bae anymore with all the other spoliers coming out.

I think she probably does not do it directly…Regina knows Belle’s Storybrook counterpart…even if she is just supposed to be a amnesia patient, Regina had to give her some personality traits…I mean she’s not a vegetable or anything…she has all her faculties…she just not our Belle. Who knows maybe Regina left her with her love or understanding of books or something and they come to her to help them figure something out from one of the library books. I would think it would have to take place in the hospital if they do something that Greg captures on his phone as evidence.
