Can I just say how much I love Adam? I love that he takes time to answer questions.
In an interview at Paley Fest, Colin O’Donoghue revealed that he’s already filmed scenes in Neverland
This just excites me to no end.
Here’s the spoiler I read about Colin:
Dahlia: Once Upon a Time scoop please!
While the only answer Colin O’Donoghue would give us when we asked if he’s filmed any scenes in Neverland yet was a coy smile and a nervous deflection, the show’s creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed that the two-part season two finale episode titles are “Second Star to the Right” and “And Straight On ‘Til Morning.” Hmmm…..http://www.eonline.com/news/394204/spoiler-chat-scoop-on-pretty-little-liars-once-upon-a-time-revolution-new-girl-and-more?cmpid=rss-000000-rssfeed-365-topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories[adrotate group="5"]"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. Hey, Hook could easily turn out as Peter Pan and blow the whole Bae/Neal/Peter Pan theory right out of the water. Wouldn’t that be the redeeming quality that makes Emma openly warm up to him?
Don’t want to see it happen because I’ve been theorizing about it being Bae for over a year now. But, one never knows and has to be open to some things.
But Hook is already a grown up before he goes to Neverland. Peter Pan is supposed to be about a teenager. He’s the boy who NEVER grew up, which is a big reason why I am against Bae being Peter. If Bae is Peter, that would mean Peter grew up. You could argue that the movie “Hook” got away with making Peter grow up, but I still wouldn’t be a fan of the idea.
Understandable (although I loved the movie “Hook”) but given how these writers like to turn stories on their ears (hello Jacqueline), I wouldn’t put it past them to have Peter grow up. It would also lead to the possibility that Hook at one point befriended Bae (whether he knew who he was or not) and perhaps his original revenge plan on the crocodile was to steal the love of the son he let go of. Wouldn’t put it past him and hey, it almost worked for Dustin Hoffman, right?
The Hook is Peter theory is interesting as well. I’m thinking it has to be one or the other and that would certainly be an interesting twist but I’m still leaning more toward NealFire Pan.
I am pretty positive that Bae ran off to Neverland, changed his name to Peter (Rumple was looking for someone with a unique name, I’d change it too), and then somehow got here and changed his name again so as to once again lose the trail. Bae would have had to grow up at some point and the lost boys don’t normally grow up either so…unless he grew up, then spent time in Neverland like Hook did as an adult and was a pirate on his ship (which would be an interesting twist), he’s gotta be one or the other and the connections pointing to Peter make sense so far.
If I had my choice of Bae stories…he’d have somehow saved Morraine and still be that sweet boy somewhere else and far away from being Neal / involved with Emma / Henry’s father (way too predictable in my opinion and therefore probably endgame) but that’s clearly not an option.
I really liked Bae and Morraine. Given that we saw her and heard her name many times I’m kinda hoping she’s more like his Wendy in the sense that in some versions Peter finally comes to his senses about Wendy but not until she’s older (or in this case probably long gone given the passing of time unless she somehow escaped to Neverland as well – which would also be an awesome twist) and then he ends up with her granddaughter whose name was Moira which is what Morraine reminds me of.
Now that I think about it, it could totally be a play on words as well (probably a stretch): connecting “more RAIN” and “WINDY.” I shall dub Peter & Wendy FORECAST if this is the case.
It also wouldn’t surprise me if Tamara turned out to be Tinkerbell for the sole reason that she’s engaged to Neal right now. Tink is usually in love with Peter but doesn’t get him in the end (that should appease the SwanFire fans that I just upset)
Either way I am more than ready for more Hook storylines, preferably ones that don’t involve him being tossed to the floor and used by absolutely everybody. Hopefully we’ll finally get to see more of the sweet, charming, fun side we saw in Tallahassee. He seemed to genuinely have felt sympathy for the lost boys so I’d like to see that backstory and see how much of that was real as well as seeing a new twist on his story. I’ve been anxious for Neverland since the character was announced.

Yes, that’s one of the reasons I’m suspecting she may be Tink, because she was crushing on Peter.

Yes, OMG I’m dying to see K&H’s take on Neverland and what happened there. Hook’s apparently fondness when mentioning the Lost Boys just made me even more eager to see how everyone got on there.

One of the things I’ve liked about the possibility of Nealfire being Pan is that the boy who didn’t grow up for so long, became the father of the only kid in SB who did grow up. It’s a fun little parallel IMO.

SpectatorTo be honest I am real sick and tired of Hook, and Bella stories they don’t really add to the story or even really move it forward. Would like to get other FL characters more time on the screen. Good grief that Hook theme trying to kill Gold has really ran its course. As for Bella she is the 3rd person who lost her memories and I am really not impress with her as others are. This season to me has been really terrible and it looks like it might be worst if we continue to give screen time to these two in my opinon. Let’s get back to the main characters and theme.!!!

ParticipantHappyEndings why so negative? You’re supposed to be happy, hence your name.
I think people are being way overly crictical, it’s starting to get on my nerves to be honest. Just because 2 characters don’t ‘really add to the story’ doesn’t mean the whole show is bad. I don’t see any problem with the show, I think they’ve put in a lot of effort and it has certainly paid off. Each to their own I guess. But just give them a chance.
And I’m curious and a bit confused. If you don’t like Hook, why go on a thread about him. Do you see the humour thereAnd I’m pretty sure it’s Belle, not Bella.

ParticipantThere are characters people love and others people hate (and they are all different to each of us).
That being said…this is Once Upon A Time…not Snow White (most of the main characters are from Snow White hence my using that as an example here). We NEED to see all these other characters that were involved or we really are just doing a SW series which this is not. I kinda love seeing how other fairy tales can be brought in, even if only briefly, and they are usually relevant even if we can’t see how just yet. There may be huge things on the horizon for any character. Looking forward to seeing it.
I will say this given the fact that I have watched Lost and I’ve noticed this with Once as well…there were characters season 1 of Lost that I absolutely HATED…and by the end they were some of my favorite people and the supposed good people at the beginning eventually grated (on me, just my opinion). The same is true of Once…I never really “hated” Rumple in the beginning but it was just like man, he’s always here, how is he involved in everything?? And then Desperate Souls happened…and Skin Deep…etc etc and now he’s one of my faves! So just give it some time.

KeymasterI think the Hook character is going to change a lot between now and S3. We’re going to Neverland which is his realm and his story, so I think we’re going to lose (mostly) the “kill Rumple!!” vengence scheme which isn’t getting him very far and I think Hook is going to become more of a hero. I think H and K’s take on Peter Pan is going to be that Cap’n Hook isn’t the mean man as he’s portrayed in literature, ect. I also think he’s going to learn to love again, staring with Emma (to give the CaptainSwan shippers their day in the sun).
The same is true of Once…I never really “hated” Rumple in the beginning but it was just like man, he’s always here, how is he involved in everything?? And then Desperate Souls happened…and Skin Deep…etc etc and now he’s one of my faves! So just give it some time
I actually really disliked Rumple in the beginning (I know…shocker!) because I thought he was your overly cliche bad guy, I didn’t see anything really different in how he was being depicted vs. the story of Rumple. He was a wicked imp who made deals and stole children, I couldn’t understand why they weren’t changing his story. And then A Desperate Soul happened and I was like “oh wow. This is totally different. I dig him. A lot.” And then Skin Deep happened and…well. Here I am, I will defend that man against basically anything. *much to many people’s annoyance I’m sure

I was so excited when I found out Hook is returning to the show at the end of the season, but hope he won’t only be featured in flashbacks. Given conversations at Paleyfest, I don’t think that’ll be what they do.
I hope Adam and Eddy will keep Captain Hook around for a long time. I’ll be very happy if he’s kept throughout season 3, and hopefully, for even longer, and I hope “Hook” will be featured in other present-day adventures outside of the current plot focused on revenge. Eventually, if even slowly or only partly, I’d like to see Hook be redeemed. I don’t want to loose one of my favorite characters on this show because if that happens, I’ll loose my favorite show too. I like Neal, but Hook’s not there. I liked Miller’s Daughter, but Hook’s absence has left an irreparable hole in the fabric of everything. Captain Hook redefined Once Upon A Time for me. That show will never be the same again.

KeymasterHey Sarah, welcome back!
I think you’re going to get your wish of more Hook. A lot more actually. But, I also think you’re gong to have to hold on until the season finales. I’m sure he’ll be swaggering back into town soon, but perhaps not until after the Spring Hiatus.

Me too. After Desperate Soul, Rumpel became my favorite beside Emma. I like his interaction with little Bae very much… It is so beautiful and yet sad. I just rewatched it again today and thought how much I like little Bae. I think I am Swanfire just because I like that little Bae so much. Now he is Neal, so I like him for being a grown up Bae. .. But not because he is Neal. For me, Neal still needs to do lots of explanation and prove his love for Emma… To deserve Emma. In Mahattan , when he came back to defend Emma in case she got into trouble for breaking the deal with Rumpel.. That is one of my favorite moments for Swanfire.
Nealfire Pan sounds like delicious Thai dish to me.
hopefully, it won’t be too spicy like other Thai dishes
I like the idea of Regina and Hook. I think they both have capacities to be good.. They are just so similar in burying themselves in revenge for losing love ones. For me, they are a very good looking bunch. Like it was posted in this thread earlier that they will be “hot” couple. Well, I am Rumpel’s fan…. He would say they will be “spicy one”
