Yes i thought this too. And is it just me or did Mulan look like she knew something that the others didn’t when Snow told her it was the sleepng curse. I have a feeling there is more to Mulan than we think.

Hook seems overly confident considering that Cora can easily kill him or rip his heart out. Maybe living in Nerverland for so long has made him immortal…? I think it pretty obvious that Hook doesn’t really like Cora, especially compared to the way he behaved with Emma and Snow. But I wonder why he didn’t try to defend himself and deny that he chose Emma, because the last thing he needs is to get on her bad side.See and that’s why I made a “There’s Something off with Mulan” thread not sure what but sometimes some things with her make me suspicious. As far as with Hook I think he has to have some way to equalize the field against magical enemies like Cora & Rumple that we haven’t seen yet. I love Hook as an anti hero I really want to see him do something important to get Emma & Snow home.

I am so proud of Hook for his bravado. And he chose Emma over Cora! *Excuse me while I gush all over SwanHook* It gives me real hope that Hook could forgive Emma’s betrayal and pledge his allegiance to helping her get home first.

Hook does come across as having too much confidence for his own good. While I doubt he’s become immortal, he does seem to have a trick up his sleeve. Maybe he knows Cora won’t kill him because only he knows how to kill Rumplestiltskin, a common enemy. Cora may want revenge against Rumpel for convincing Regina to push her through the looking glass and conning Regina into casting the dark curse on his behalf. Cora and Rumpel seem to have a feud that goes back to when Cora guessed Rumpel’s name and kept baby Regina from him. When Rumpel thought he’d finally won by making Regina his apprentice and getting rid of Cora, she probably promised herself that she’d get the last laugh in the end.

The reason Cora knows about SB is because Emma naively told her the name of the town in their first encounter in present-day EF in the prison. Also, if Cora is the QoH (which is very likely) then she knew all about other worlds from Jefferson and tried to get him to make another magical hat, which is how he went mad in the first place. Finally, I bet Cora’s power preserved the safe haven from the dark curse, and she probably knew that the curse transported most everyone out of the EF from talking to other survivors who were left behind. Because Regina told the entire kingdom on Snow and Charming’s wedding day that she’d unleash a curse so horrible it’s take them to a place without happy endings, the ones who were left must still have heard that news. When Emma was in the prison in the remanent of the EF that survived, Cora probably put the two together and figured that SB is where Snow and everyone else must have been transported by the curse.

I didn’t take Mulan’s silence about the sleeping curse to be a sign of her guilt. I read it as her realizing the connection between Henry, Aurora, and Snow that shed hadn’t before understood. It was like the wheels were turning in her head as she realized how serious the consequences of the sleeping curse were. Whereas before Mulan thought Aurora was a bit of a pansy, she now has more respect for the amount of suffering Aurora has been through.

November 22, 2012 at 12:31 pm #161657nonnieParticipant– the girls got upset about Snow saying it might not have been a dream and Aurora even shouting if there is anything else she’s lied about – I mean COME ON, Snow clearly cared about you and took care when you were trying to sleep and now it’s a lie??? And why none of them are happy that they can communicate with SB? (although admittedly, Emma might be just as well worried that Henry is going through hell every time he falls asleep – but have no fear, mom Regina is with him 😆 )
AURORA is depressed and grieving so give her a break. She is orphaned and her true love has died so she probably feels abandoned and worthless. I give her credit for standing up to CORA.
Aurora is probably is trying to throw off Cora and trying to lull her into false sense of security, that Snow and Emma will not try to rescue her. I beginning to think AURORA is no slouch as a princess.

That’s an intriguing thought about him potentially being immortal. Dunno if they’d go that far, but maybe he’s protected against Cora by a spell, somehow, like an insurance policy? If I was gonna be going into business with Cora, you’d best believe that I’d take out life insurance of some description. At the very least he must have something she needs, likely knowledge of some kind, because if it was an object she needed, she’d just kill him and take it.

Yeah I agree with slurpeez, I didn’t think Mulan’s reaction was suspect, I think it was just a moment of realisation on her part, and maybe along with that, he was regretting some of the crap she’d given Aurora.
As far as Cora and Aurora only discussing Emma and Snow, and not also Mulan, I didn’t read too much into that either, just because she’s not the leader of that little group, she’s only with them to help them accomplish their goal of getting home. Emma and Snow call the shots in that foursome, so if there’s the option to exchange Aurora for the compass, Mulan doesn’t get a say in that decision, so she’s not worth discussing in that scene.
