1. If you care about Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) at all, the first scene will break your heart.
2. Answers? Oh, you’ll definitely get answers — including some we didn’t expect.
3. Some powers aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
4. Someone gets royally screwed over.
5. David/Charming (Josh Dallas) and Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) feature in an excellent scene that provides some much-needed comic relief.
6.”I don’t want Henry to get hurt. I just want to protect him.”
7. Someone tells a major lie.
8. This show comes from people who worked on Lost, so we guess we shouldn’t be surprised by the increasing number of characters with major daddy issues.
9.There’s always a price, but we never expected the one we learn about in this episode.
10. Robert Carlyle gives one of his best, most varied performances to date.[adrotate group="5"]February 12, 2013 at 7:11 pm #172757RumplesGirlKeymasterARG! My Rumple heart is already broken after the events of the Outsider. No more breakage of the Dearies heart please!

I’m already crying from the promo. Nealfire running away from daddy Rumple. 😥

Like what is in August’s box?! Please!
3. Some powers aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
Regina probably regrets Rumple ever teaching her dark magic.
4. Someone gets royally screwed over.
This is what I’ve been wondering about the most! I think it could be the seer in the Rumple flashback, or maybe even pre-dark Rumple himself.

More awkward sex scenes?! 😆
6.”I don’t want Henry to get hurt. I just want to protect him.”
This has to be Regina protesting Cora’s evil plan.
7. Someone tells a major lie.
Gotta be Pinocchio!

We’re supposed to meet Rumple’s daddy in the flashback!
9.There’s always a price, but we never expected the one we learn about in this episode.
I think it’s a price Nealfire had to pay for Rumple’s use of magic. Perchance, he could’ve been stuck in Neverland for a long time.
10. Robert Carlyle gives one of his best, most varied performances to date.
I’d expect nothing less from our dear Bobby, so at least I know to stock up on tissues in advance.
"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

I was thinking more about the Seer. She doesn’t want her powers anymore.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 12, 2013 at 7:34 pm #172763mich7ParticipantMajor lie? With everyone coming clean we still get somebody lying. Top contenders I’d say are Neal, Emma, or Rumple since the Manhattan part centers on them. Neal could be hiding something. Emma could lie to protect Henry. And I can see Rumple lying if he thought Bae would reject him. Then again it could easily be Cora.
Could also be August…since he is supposed to have a brief appearance…he is Pinocchio after all.
The fact that they need much needed comedy relief…lol…now I’m on pins and needles again.

I’m thinking this is referring to the betrayal thing with Regina…she is royalty after all…the evil queen.
February 12, 2013 at 7:39 pm #172766RumplesGirlKeymasterI think the person who gets royally screwed over is going to be Rumple. The “royal” thing does make me think it could be Regina BUT I think this episode it going to kill all the Dearies and Rumple getting screwed somehow, after he lost Belle and while NealFire is running away from him, is just going to kill us all.

Gods. My heart is already broken anyway. And I haven’t seen the episode yet.
4. Someone gets royally screwed over.
Who who!? Regina? Cora? Something tell me Hook…
7. Someone tells a major lie
.
Houu Pinocchio watch your noise
9.There’s always a price, but we never expected the one we learn about in this episode.
If Neal is Bael, maybe the price for Rumpel would be that his son will not forgive him? He will lose him for good? 🙁
10. Robert Carlyle gives one of his best, most varied performances to date.
That man is a genius somebody give him an Oscar asap!
February 12, 2013 at 8:25 pm #172775vampirefan12ParticipantI wish somebody give Robert Carlyle an award already.
February 12, 2013 at 8:41 pm #172779mich7ParticipantI wonder if the price for using magic was that he would lose his family…but perhaps the savior was the loophole(one could hope)…and that through the savior he could have his family restored. He brings Emma to get Bae to talk to him…maybe he just doesn’t know the extent to which she can restore his family (not knowing Nealfire is Henry’s father).
Then again perhaps the price was Bae’s happiness…Neal did have to give up Emma because of the curse. Or it could be worse…Nealfire’s eventual death. And if we’ve been punked and Neal isn’t Bae, maybe the price was Bae’s death (long shot in my opinion).
Also thought of another potential liar…the seer…be a kick in the head to find out she lied to Rumple about the prophecy. Hey…they said she was a seer…they didn’t say she was truthful….more than likely Pinocchio though since they said nature and nurture were prevailing themes…we know his nature…and since the “appearance” more than likely has to do with Neal what exactly did he lie to him about.
