😆 You’re nothing if not dedicated to the cause. Love your work. 😉
I think they’re on episode 3 now unless they film things out of order again,
Just to show that I’m not above a bit of stalking myself, Colin O’Donoghue (Hook) tweeted on the 6th that he was headed home the next day and a friend tweeted him about catching up in Dublin. So they’re not shooting eps 3 and 4 out of order, coz Hook’s flown off to the wrong country for the time being.
PS. How stinking cute is this pic?! http://t.co/nuLPzZDl
Anyway, Michael heading to SB in time to film ep 3 has certainly thrown me for a loop. Wasn’t necessarily expecting him to be showing up quite so soon, no matter who he is. Hmmmm, guess if he could potentially be there for eps 3 AND 4, the ep where we know we’ll meet Hook, the Peter Pan theory could still fit. Doubt they’d give Rumple his son back this early in the season, that’s something he should have to search for and work for, so I think I’m ruling out him being Bae. Perhaps. Maybe. For now.

In season two, you will learn more of the back story of..
~ Emma
~ Rumplestiltskin
~ Baelfire/Morraine
~ Cora (Regina’s mother)
~ Henry
~ Regina
~ Possibly Jefferson…
~ And more, but we can’t say who else! The writers are planning on expanding Baelfire and Morraine’s backstory. I never even factored Morraine into the equation. Maybe she and Bae are each other’s true love. And it also makes the “Peter Pan and Wendy” theory sound more and more plausible.
I think we may actually get a shocker out of this storyline. Until a few weeks ago, I was positive that Bae was Henry’s father. Butnow, I’m not so sure. At the moment, I’m stuck between Peter Pan and Jack. Hmmm…

There’s a name I hadn’t expected to see again! Wouldn’t think that there’d be a reason to go back and show more of Bae’s childhood, so the only way to have them connect again is if he found a way back. And that would potentially have shades of Peter Pan and Wendy.
Unless we’re just gonna see Bae and Morraine as infants (or toddlers), if Milha does turn out to be Bae’s mother, and they go back to tell that story?

Pretty much every time I almost convince myself 100% of a theory, some new bit of info pops up that makes me question it again. 😆

August 8, 2012 at 6:16 pm #152934JosephineParticipantWasn’t it Robin Hood who was the archer, not Peter Pan?
I really don’t care about Morraine. She served her purpose. I want Bae’s true love to be Emma, even if he isn’t Henry’s father.
But like others, I’m wrong a lot and can’t wait to find out what really happens. I haven’t been this excited since Harry Potter. The tight plot of OUaT reminds me of what I loved about HP. No matter what you think is going to happen, you are still surprised. You go back and there are clues. Love that.

Yeah, you’re right. I can’t remember when, if ever, Peter Pan was associated with archery, but I know for sure Robin Hood was. It’s so interesting that Dylan has been taking up archery, and it’d be interesting if Baelfire turns out to be Robin Hood. There is some evidence to suggest that may be the case. In episode 1×19, The Return, when Rumpel and Baelfire are in the woods, there is a group of boys fighting with sticks, which could be a foreshadowing of Robin Hood’s group of merry men. Also, Henry’s mirror had pictures of various fairy-tales back in S1. One of them I identified as being Robin Hood fighting Little John in the same style as we saw the boys fighting in 1×19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_john

I’ve never really bought into the Baelfire = Emma’s true love. I think it’s more likely that Morraine may be Baelfire’s true love, just because we’ve already seen her twice, in the same episodes as Baelfire. She’s the one who told him about the Blue Fairy. Also, the names “Dark One”, “Baelfire” and “Morraine” are all references to the book series called The Wheel of Time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wheel_of_Time Bae and Morriane seemed linked in my mind. Who knows for sure though? It’s fun just speculating, and it wouldn’t be the first time I’m wrong.

August 9, 2012 at 3:10 pm #152954PriceofMagicParticipantCould Morriane be in league with the Blue Fairy? Bae did not know of the Blue Fairy until Morraine told him and it just seemed convenient that the solution Blue Fairy offered to Bae was to give him the magic bean that would take him and Rumple away from Fairytale land. Was Blue Fairy manipulating Bae in order to get rid of Rumple?

Keeper of FelixAugust 9, 2012 at 5:41 pm #152959JosephineParticipantOoh. Another reason to dislike the Blue Fairy. I do wonder if Eddy and Adam set out to make her shady or it’s just us fans who are looking at it skewed. I think maybe non-fandom watchers, like those in my family who watch but aren’t obsessed, may not pick up on the evil vibe we’re getting. Maybe she isn’t evil, but I still think she’s morally gray. Working for the greater good doesn’t always help the greater good, if you can understand that.

August 9, 2012 at 6:34 pm #152960PriceofMagicParticipantI just find it a bit odd that Morraine appeared the moment Bae was alone and then scarpered when she heard Rumple coming back despite telling Bae mere moments before that she wasn’t afraid of Rumple. It was like she didn’t want Rumple to know what she was saying to Bae.
Perhaps Morraine was genuinely concerned about Bae so she went to the Blue Fairy for help who used her to get to Bae.

Keeper of FelixAugust 9, 2012 at 9:41 pm #152968elleParticipantI never thought of the Blue Fairy as evil. With Baelfire falling into the vortex alone, that was Rumpelstiltskin’s fault. As sorry as he is for it, I agree with the Blue Fairy when she told him that he was the one to drive Baelfire away. It wasn’t smart to let Baelfire try to convince the Dark One alone, but Rumpelstiltskin had the choice–he went with the wrong one. Nor do I blame her for not helping Regina–a lot of people seem to find that to be her fault. The only thing I hated her for was her speech to Dreamy about how he can’t be with Nova, and how she lied to Snow White and Prince Charming about the wardrobe.
As for Baelfire and Emma, I never thought of them as being together. This show is pretty strong with twists–Red is the Wolf, Rumpelstiltskin is the Beast, and the Mad Hatter was not always mad. Them being together is one, what fans expect to happen. Also, I don’t think Emma would fall for someone that is the son of Rumpelstiltskin. Granted, she is not malicious–she wouldn’t treat either Baelfire or Belle unkindly, but she would be wary of them. She’d probably keep them at a distance.
