Eli Gold? Where’d they get that from? Brain fart by the person writing the article, or legit secret information leak?

PS. Google sez Eli Gold is a character on The Good Wife, so I’d be surprised if they used the same name on Once.

PPS. Though googling the name Eli, I started reading about the Biblical Eli, the Jewish high priest who blessed a woman, who then had a child, who was sent back to Eli to raise when he was still a baby. The child, (Samuel), grew up to become a prophet. Powerful guy who raised the son of a woman he knew, and the son ends up being someone significant and powerful in his own right? Yeah, I can sort of see a parallel to Rumple and Bae there, so if they were looking for a Biblical name for Mr Gold, Eli might have stuck out to them as a good choice. The most important piece of evidence to support this argument is that in the illustration of young Samuel on his wiki page he totally has Bae’s hair. Case closed. 😉 😛

I know! It’s seemingly random for them to publish this as Mr. Gold’s first name, making me think it’s a mistake. If it’s true, it’s the biggest spoiler I’ve heard yet. Great job with your research! If his name is Eli, it’d make a lot of sense.

Question: Okay, I’ll bite — what’s the big Lost-esque twist coming up on Once Upon a Time involving Mary Margaret and Emma? —Victoria

Ausiello: Remember how Lost would forever find new angles from which to tell a story? And you know how Once already uses flashbacks to the fairytale land that was? Well, you didn’t think they’d leave the narrative as linear as that, did you? http://tvline.com/2012/08/28/walking-dead-season-3-death-spoiler/

I never watched Lost, but I think I read somewhere that there were flash-forwards after the first few seasons. Could Emma and MM actually time-jump to the future or potentially realm-jump to another parallel dimension? Wow, wow, wow!

I’m wondering if this is how we’re going to see the Land of Oz come into play, like Dorthy was transported out of our world and forced to follow the yellow-brick road. We’ve seen hints in Henry’s book of flying monkeys, so it could happen. Also, in the DVD commentary for 1×1, Horowitz and Kitsis pointed out that the hot air balloon in baby Emma’s nursery doesn’t necessarily belong in FTL, but might allude to other stories. Well, the only story I can think of is the Wizard of Oz.

I reckon with so much happening in the present and the past right now that it’d confuse things if they started jumping forward as well. I’m totally cool with seeing some more realm jumping though, and suspect that may well be the case because wasn’t Charming chasing Jefferson around SB?

The commentaries are the main thing I’m looking forward to on the DVD. Can’t wait to hear all those fun little tidbits! I love that they had the foresight to include hints like that right back in the pilot. Also, what we’ve seen of realm jumping so far involves tornado-esque conditions. Wonder if they had Dorothy’s method of getting to Oz in mind when they were thinking of how others would realm jump too, so that when they show Dorothy going to Oz, it’ll be an echo of something we’ve seen happen before?

This website has a whole load of filming shots covering the four episodes they’ve filmed so far. Some we’ve already seen and some I don’t think we have including this interesting shot of Jefferson.

Is his scarf covering his hand for a reason or was the actor just feeling the heat?

I’m thinking that since it’s a summer shoot, Sebastian Stan just got hot and had to cool down by taking off the scarf.

I think so too. There are a lot of pictures of the actors taking off their coats because they are hot.

Who is the brunette woman in the hat? I thought it was Red, but it doesn’t appear to be from the close up. Could it be her stand in of some form, or is she a new character?
