Hopefully, it will make sense how Prince Phillip = Dr. Whale too because I don’t get the connection like I do with the other Storybrooke names.
I’m still not convinced that David Anders (who plays Dr. Whale) is Prince Phillip. He just seems too old for the part compared to Sarah Bolger, the actress who has been cast as Sleeping Beauty. Also, compared to the actors who play Prince Charming or Prince Thomas, the actor who plays Dr. Whale looks more middle-aged than like a young prince. I’m more inclined to think that Dr. Whale is either linked to Red’s or Pinocchio’s story, based on those pictures David Anders has been posting.

I don’t think he is Prince Phillip either for the same reason plus Phillip is my favorite Disney prince and I would be disappointed if this were the case. Obviously he is not Captain Hook since Hook is not appearing til episode 4 so I am still going with Monstro… the creators did say that this season was all about discovery and redemption…Maybe by helping good he is redeeming himself…sort of like Pinocchio…especially if it is the BF who turned him into the whale as a punishment of sorts to begin with…

I depends on who Jack turns out to be. Because if he’s Baelfire, then it probably won’t be a one-shot and it probably won’t be about Emma either. 😉

Rumple does have a swagger 😀 ; if Jack turns up in a three piece suit, bright colored shirt, with anything resembling a ‘pimp cane’: I rest my case!
Well we will see, but i still don’t think this description of Jack sounds like Bae and i also dislike the idea of Bae being another character as well. Especially because he is most likely Henry’s father. We will see. Generally while i think it is possible that Bae is Jack, none of this information actually makes me think it is true at all.
There’s two more Jack spoilers, but at this point, I think they’re basically just the first spoiler worded differently to make people think that particular site got new information that the other spoilers sites didn’t because this is getting sort of ridiculous now.

The ABC hit is introducing a damaged (but in the sexy kind of way) character named Jack, who is described as charismatic and mysterious. While he’s got swagger like Jagger, Jack is from a dangerous land and is running from his past. Basically, this guy has got “new TV crush” written all over him and viewers might see him stick around on the show for awhile. (P.S. Could Jack be the Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk? Question: I just watched all six seasons of Lost, which led me to the first season of Once Upon a Time. Needless to say, I was thrilled when you reported that Jorge Garcia was wanted for a part. Any news on who he’ll be playing? — Rebecca
Ausiello: No clue, but I can tell you producers have officially put out a casting call for Jack (of Beanstalk fame), who hails from a land that’s even scarier than the 6 train during rush hour and is described as being wholly decent but very secretive, indefatigably disarming but emotionally broken. And on top of it all, he’s sexy as hell.The E! spoiler sounds basically the same as the first two spoilers, but I’m not sure whether to believe that E! actually knows that Jack could be sticking around for awhile because that definitely sounds like Jack could be Bae then.
On the other hand, in Michael Ausiello’s spoiler, it sounds like Jack may not be Bae and actually someone that comes from a different realm than anyone else, but it basically sounds like the original spoiler just changed around.

I think E! is just trying to make the press release look more exclusive. ‘Might’ saves their rep if he’s killed off in his first episode.
Anyone else find it hilarious how these people take the same kernel of a press release, and turn it in SO many directions? 😆 The majority still have me thinking Baelfire, but your right about the Michael Ausiello spoiler: sounds more like a new minion/sex slave for Regina with a heart of gold for the good guys to turn…I don’t think it would make sense for Bae to be Jack….Bae went to a world without magic, and Jack clearly belongs in Fairy Tale world, or some other place that does have magic.
Yay! The casting of Jack ushers in the season of thinking every male from the age of 14-400 is Bae and/or Henry’s dad. I love it. Jack does really sound like he could end up being Bae.
So excited to see pictures of Gold. And I’m exstatic that he still has the badass pimp cane. Just him standing in his shop entrance holding it is menacing. I do wonder at the exchange inside. If I were Regina I’d run far, far away. 😀
