Often time in the ONCEiverse, random throw away lines are anything but. They often come back in bigger ways. Tonight, Alice told Will “there is more than one way to use a wish” in reference to using the sharp corners of the jewels to cut through rope. But is that the only what she meant? Besides, *making* wishes, do you think there are other ways to use a wish? What could the be? And how could that come into play?

    (or am I crazy)

Oh, you’re definitely crazy, but might just be on to something.

Hmm..the wishes are jewels, which have been used in lasers. 😛

I’m just going to type/talk this out.

You use a wish to be granted something you desire.

Presumably the jewel disappears after you’ve made your wish

    There are only three wishes

You can use the actual jewel as its own object.

Can the wish make a portal, like a bean?

    (ugh) no clue.

If you’re crazy then so am I, because it totally makes sense that a line like that was foreshadowing.

Ok, how about using a wish for a portal to get back to be in Storybrook. Then go to the nearby Pawnshop and sell the wishes for a house, lots of money and a favoer from Rumple.

I mean for his Ex-Wife he needs a good Lawyer and a very good sourcerer.

I’m not sure what it is specifically foreshadowing but I think the goal is to take the wishes out of existence forever. Once you wish on all 3, Cyrus goes back into his bottle and the next user gets three new wishes. They need to figure out a way to make it so there are never any more wishes. Cyrus warned against wishing for his freedom, but could Alice wish for his freedom and then wish the wishes/bottle out of existence? But at what cost?
