Wasn’t it absolutely adorable when Emma referred to MM as her family and MM looked so doe-eyed? I’m a huge fan of the mother-daughter scenes between them. Emma seems to be having some intuitive insights into her relationship with MM. I can’t wait to see how that develops through the rest of the season.
It was a beautiful scene. But I wish Emma hadn’t corrected herself and referred to her as her “friend.”

But it makes me laugh when I think of Emma and David. I get the feeling their moments together are more like a pre-teen girl with her father – kind of like when you are embarrassed by things he does and when you want to be dropped off at the corner so no one knows he’s your dad – since he always seems to say and do the wrong thing. Poor David.
We haven’t seen Emma interact much with David this season, so it’ll be interesting how they act around each other. I like the image of a pre-teen girl with her father.

They really had me going in “Hat Trick” when Emma pretended to remember. I was getting so excited when she talked about how she really wanted to believe MM was her mother, but then she whacked the hatter upside the head and called him crazy….I was like “Nooooo! Emma! He’s telling the truth!” I want Emma to start believing so badly.
I did love the scene when she slipped and said family instead of friends. I wonder how Emma will feel if MM and David remember and start claiming that Emma is their daughter.

I’ve been having this great vision since monday (in German there’s an expression that translated means “head cinema”, seeing a scene like it’s in a movie) where MM and David know who they are, embrace, kiss then look at each other with this shocked face of realization and say “Oh gods, Emma!” 😯
Ha ha ha!March 28, 2012 at 6:28 pm #140201hjbauParticipantI know. I was like Emma what you are saying is true. You just have to believe. It will break the curse. Your magic will work. But oh you are such a liar. Though she had to do it. She had to try and get away. He was waving a gun at her. He had Mary tied up. She had to do it.

Ha ha ha!Yeah, I’m afraid I’m a bit gullible…I just wanted so badly for her to be telling the truth that I forgot what a good liar she is.
I keep imagining their reaction too. 🙂 And if Emma still doesn’t believe by that point, she is going to be extremely weirded out!
March 28, 2012 at 7:23 pm #140212miaParticipantExactly! Somehow I really do hope she doesn’t believe until MM and David come up to her and go “Henry was right, you are our daughter! Oh my gods, Henry’s our grandson!!” The idea is just too funny. Please, please Kitsis&Horowitz, don’t do it too emotional, just make it funny! 😆
March 28, 2012 at 7:40 pm #140216hjbauParticipantI think Emma has started to believe. I am looking forward to this weeks episode because of the real world part way more then the fairytale part of what Snow did and i am not sure if i am going to be able to watch it live.

It would be hysterical to see David acting all proud/protective/fatherly toward Emma considering they are like the same age. They could even play it off kind of creepy from Emma’s perspective and have her think that David is coming on to her or something because of his sudden “interest” in her. It could be weird – suddenly David and MM are wanting Emma to go on their dates with them (oh wait – that’s another show Ginnifer Goodwin was on 😆 ). And MM would be giving Emma those doe-eyed looks of hers ALL THE TIME. Plus you could have Henry let a “Grandpa” slip here and there . . .
