Yeah, I miss Rumpel a ton, too, and even Regina. But, fear not, for if you read the synopses for the next two episodes, you won’t be disappointed for much longer. 🙂
I’m with you both slurpeez & AntBee. Missing them terribly! Loved watching Reggie last night interact between Henry & Gold. I found her to be funny as heck! 😆 One minute she’s talking as the protective dotting mother. Then when Gold puts in a dig about how she should know about the sleeping curse, out comes the Evil Queen saying “My victims are not suppose to wake up, so, I certainly never cared what happened to them after!” Then quickly reverts back to dotting mother as she lovingly gazes upon Henry and says “Until now.” 😆 She cracked me up and played that part so well!

When he needed to be away he included Regina in what is going on with Henry and had her come over. Still was a little disappointing how Henry reacted to seeing her but I think after her helping him by getting Gold to get a remedy might have started to win Henry over a bit. I thought it was curious how willing Gold was to help Henry I’m not sure why it seems he has a soft spot for Henry but we’ll probably see down the line.

November 12, 2012 at 11:34 pm #160483snowfallsParticipant^I think his favor is going to be for Emma to find Baelfire. Mr. Gold can’t leave Storybrooke without losing his memory, so he’ll probably send Emma out to look for Bae. I seriously doubt Mr. Gold would use Emma’s favor for anything less. His whole reason for creating the curse was so that he could find Baelfire, so finding Baelfire will probably be on Emma’s to do list once she comes back from the Enchanted Forest.

Yes, I agree. With the writers deciding to redeem our villains a bit, they’ve made sure to show them doing a few kind acts. With Regina, it’s her deciding to stop using magic. And for Mr. Gold, it’s his deals. His favor to Henry was the second time this season that he’s helped someone for free. In “The Doctor,” Mr. Gold reattached Dr. Whale’s arm free of charge. The only thing he wanted was for Dr. Whale to admit that he needed magic.
And on a more obvious note, the writers are also probably trying to hint at a possible connection between Mr. Gold and Henry. Baelfire will most likely be revealed to be Henry’s father, so I think the writers are setting up a possible relationship between Mr. Gold and Henry.

Gold did say “This one’s on me”, so whatever the price, he is willing to pay it.

I think he needs Emma in Storybrooke, because he can’t leave to search for Bae, but, Emma can. And, she owes him a favor.
