with a musical episode we are working on that will be almost the end of the series
Did he mean season….? End of the season???
It depends if Eduardo was speaking British English or American English because in England, people use the word “series” they way Americans use “season”. For example, British people would say series one of Sherlock to mean season one of Sherlock. I’ve no idea what dialect of English Eduardo Castro speaks, so it’s hard to say with any certainty what he meant.

February 25, 2017 at 10:48 pm #333534RumplesGirlKeymasterIt makes me wonder if they will be filming an alternate ending, in the event that ABC doesn’t renew the show for Season 7. I recall that was what Castle did, and it would be the smart move to make.
Definitely

Yeah. And at the end of the article he says season instead of series.
and the musical will be in the third to the last episode this season.
Sooooooo?

Except the person who did the interview asked that question specifically. Eduardo meant series as in series finale according to American English.

The interviewer asked Eduardo for clarification:
You said it will be almost the end of the series, so I wasn’t sure if you were using the words series/season interchangeably or if everybody is operating under the assumption of renewal.
Castro: The basic story line of Once will be completed this season. Whether there is a continuation with some of the cast is still under consideration, and the musical will be in the third to the last episode this season.
Basically Eduardo meant that the main story as we know it is ending, while Season 7 is up in the air depending on what happens with the cast and likely other factors.

No he won’t because it’s pointless to have Hook alone especially if him and Emma are married. Unless you’re suggesting Emma is just randomly off screen or something after they’re married of all things. It’s the same with Emilie or Josh. They would not continue if their characters better half wouldn’t.
It’s not like Colin needs the money. He and the rest of the cast will be banking over ten months because of con appearances and yes cons really do make actors a lot of money.
February 25, 2017 at 10:53 pm #333540hjbauParticipantA wedding does not make sense as an ending. We can only hope that is not the ending and the article says Emma “will end the series in a newer version of the classic red jacket.” That is why, as i said, i believe her chances of dying goes up because we see her in a red jacket in the sword fight against the hooded figure. Emma might get married in her red jacket though. Still the curse breaking and returning to the Enchanted Forest makes sense as a bookend for the series.
February 25, 2017 at 10:55 pm #333541MichaelBlockedNo we don’t. She’s not in a jacket in the vision at all.
February 25, 2017 at 10:57 pm #333542hjbauParticipantExcept Hook has very little connection to the story, like Zelena, so he would be an easier character to keep then Rumpel without Belle or Snow without Charming. They have only been dating for six months, even if they get married, it isn’t like Hook couldn’t some how stay. Especially if they time jump his kid or the curse somehow leaves him behind because he didn’t arrive with it.
