No we don’t. She’s not in a jacket in the vision at all.

Correct. She’s in the black tank top in her vision.

Except Emma is shown in both of the promos fighting the hooded figure in a red jacket. Also, the article says she ends the series in a different version of the red jacket.

I don’t get why Colin has to lose his job just because Jennifer doesn’t want to continue. He’ll stay regardless.

No he won’t because it’s pointless to have Hook alone especially if him and Emma are married. Unless you’re suggesting Emma is just randomly off screen or something after they’re married of all things. It’s the same with Emilie or Josh. They would not continue if their characters better half wouldn’t. It’s not like Colin needs the money. He and the rest of the cast will be banking over ten months because of con appearances and yes cons really do make actors a lot of money.

You are looking at it as “what makes sense for the story” and you shouldn’t. Colin is a separate person, he isn’t tied to Jennifer. She can do what she wants and he can do what he wants, and honestly, they don’t really care about the story or the characters anymore at this point.

I honestly can’t remember if she fights Gideon in the red jacket in the premiere or not but I *think*she does. Which is why it’s not THE vision–she even says “I am fated to die. And I will die. But not today.”

In other words: in the vision–no jacket. The first fight–possibly jacket.

And as far as we know, they haven’t filmed an outdoor sword fight between Emma and Gideon since. What they filmed around November was definitely the fight in 611. Both the vision and the 611 fight were filmed in the same location.

I don’t think Hook would die, nor do I think Emma will. But if Jen were to chose not to return to the show for whatever reasons, I don’t see how Hook could remain a main character. He’d still pop up or whatever, but I don’t see how they would be able to explain never seeing Emma but always seeing Hook. If they both go they could always say they “Went sailing the world” for their honeymoon or something, but I don’t buy Hook remaining alone.

Wait, so they sword fight in the streets in 611? Or is there another vision of the sword fight?

Okay, so i just looked and she is wearing the same red jacket from 610 in the promos for 611. I see what you are saying now. Still the end is not the wedding unless she gets married in a red jacket.

Neither do I. But I get what Bar is saying. If Colin wants to re-sign, then he re-signs. There’s no line in his contract saying that he can only be in the show if JMo is there. The writers have to figure a way around the conundrum, but that’s their job.

Honestly, i don’t want Hook to stay. I think the show would be better for him leaving, but i don’t think it is important enough for Emma’s story that he has to go with her. I think it is more ridiculous that Emma might leave Henry behind then that she might leave Hook.

MItD: Which storyline has been your favorite to create the costumes for? The most challenging? Emma’s “Dark Swan” costumes have been my favorite.

Castro: The pilot was my favorite. It sparkled and everything worked, even though I did it in four weeks, including 450 extras at Snow’s wedding. We also established all the principles in Fairy Tale Land, all custom made and all worked out beautifully. I personally hated the “Black Swan” series, it was hard to create and took many prototypes to get in on camera, but in the end not one of my favorites.

Didn’t most of us hate the Black Swan series, too? LOL. I love how honest Eduardo is, a welcome change from A&E being really obtuse or downright dishonest. It’s so refreshing.

PS) Notice how Eduardo used the word “series” again when talking about S5 when most Americans would have opted for the word “season” to describe Emma’s stint as the dark swan. It kinda makes me think the show might continue past season 6, even though the current story won’t (hence the reboot spoilers and new casting call).
