I hope it’s not that long red jacket. I don’t like it. Looks like a Bellhop (that’s what their called right) uniform. Why not stay with her red leather or get a new red leather jacket. It’s her cape! Gah!
Wasn’t it her shield or a symbol of her Walls™? Isn’t it supposed to be a bad thing? Is it relevant to 5B only?
It’s a rather fluid symbol. It’s been her superhero cape, it’s her armor, it’s a representation of her walls….

It is unfortunate that she won’t end the show in it. I wonder if they mean like a fairytale version of the red leather jacket. I would be fine with that. I have always been disappointed that Emma wears dresses in fairytale land instead of dressing more like bandit Snow or some version of that. Maybe they will finally end with Emma wear a Charming like outfit.

I just say, if they announce renew soon, at least let fans know who is leaving and who is staying.
I think it’s everyone but Lana and Bex. But personally I think the show is cancelled. Because they won’t be able to maintain a 0.9 the entire time.
It’s also worth mentioning that the OUAT poster was removed from the Disney lot along w/ the posters for Secrets and Lies and Convictions two shows that are very likely cancelled.
February 26, 2017 at 12:58 pm #333584TheWatcherParticipantUnless the season finale is something that will attract a great number of viewers, I agree. OUAT is out of here. The new story would have to be something something amazing.

And this is the problem and philosophical debate that ABC and the writers need to contend with. The dedicated audience that has stuck with the show—have they stuck around because of the basic style and theatrics of the story (Disney and mythological villains and heroes coming to life and get up to shenanigans) or is it did they stick around because of the characters that have been around for five to six seasons?
If it’s the former–style of storytelling over character–then this show could go on forever. You just expand your database to include more mythology once the Disney well runs dry.
If it’s the latter–character development over style–then the show is toast once you lose the characters who resonate the most, in this case (based on internet popularity) Emma, Regina, and Rumple. The others definitely have their fans but those three are the meat and potatoes of the show.
I would argue that the dedicated amongst us haven’t stuck around for the story. In fact, most of us have been pretty harsh on the narrative and are sick of “the next Disney villain” and the never ending lather/rinse/repeat of the seasons. We’ve stuck around cause we’re invested in Emma, Regina, Rumple, Snowing, Belle, Hook, and Henry. We want to see what happens to those characters not what next BIG THING is brought on to the show.
If ABC and A and E doubt that, then I suggest they take a real hard look at fan reaction to ABC’s Castle and Fox’s Sleepy Hollow.

It’s obvious that most people care about character over plot especially online. Adam knows that article with the news of the plans for S7 was not met with positivity at all.

Thinking the same thing with regards to the decision. It’s interesting, though, because it’s not going to be a totally fair representation given that S6B still has our core characters. It’s still all about Emma, Regina, Snow, and Rumple and their significant others. The ratings could be low but steady but that’s not indicative of how S7 will go ratings wise *IF* they are planning on saying goodbye to half the cast at the end of 6.

It’s obvious to you and I, to be sure. But I’m not so sure this is obvious to ABC. These are the same people who thought Castle would be *totes okay!* without Stana. I don’t even watch the show and even I knew that would blow up in their faces.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 26, 2017 at 5:07 pm #333589RainbowParticipantI think they just need to say if the show will be cancelled or not, if is renew, they need also to clarify who stays and who goes, but knowing Adam, and I think we all agree, he will have the same word that always, No spoilers, which will even be worst to the fandom and I may say, worst to him and the writers.
Also, don’t you all find odd, or maybe is just me, that after Jmo and Bobby words, seemed like Adam and Eddy had not asked the cast at the beginning of S6,in case they get a s7 if they count with them and also seems that they didn’t talked with the cast about their stories for the season, which makes me wonder if the relationship btw Adam and Eddy and the cast is as good as used to be and as they pretend to show or is more PR than anything else at this moment, and there is no longer a cumplicity like used to exist?

I’m guessing in this case the reboot idea was Adam and Eddy’s, rather than ABC’s. It sounds more like something they would try to pull. I’m not sure how on board ABC really is about this idea.
February 26, 2017 at 6:02 pm #333591RumplesGirlKeymasterSo here’s the big question.
Let’s say we lose 90% of the cast–just Lana and Bex stick around. Would you still watch? Would you just check out the premiere of 7 and then go from there? Or would you say that S6B was the end and move on?
