I don’t think that ABC and the writers get that it is the characters Emma, Snow, Regina, and Rumpel that people are watching this show for. If they got that then they would focus on that instead of continuing to introduce new characters and giving the plot that has nothing to do with what the main cast is going through. I think they might be waiting for the first episode to come out. They will be filming the last few episodes right after the show comes back. They need to make a decision before that because if the show is cancelled then they can at least add a little bit of an ending like Castle did instead of adding on the next thing.
This is a mess, that it has really come to this. It is really surprising to me that the writers and ABC seemed to fumbling hard when it comes to contracts being up for the entire main cast. They must have realized what that might mean for the show and they should have started thinking about the end back at the beginning of the season. Though these writers and ABC have always seemed to be completely out of touch with how their actors were feeling about the show.

This. This is what i was trying to say. It is really surprising to me how out of touch Adam and Eddy have become with the cast that they seem to not be aware that they might be ready to move on from the show. They should have had these conversations at the beginning of Season 6, not now. Jennifer, in her interview, pretty much acted like she didn’t know what was going on which is ridiculous because she is the lead here.

Let’s say we lose 90% of the cast–just Lana and Bex stick around. Would you still watch? Would you just check out the premiere of 7 and then go from there? Or would you say that S6B was the end and move on?
I’d at least check out the Season 7 premiere – but only for Lana.

WickedSisters…sure, I’d more than likely stick around. However, I think it’d be best to end it at Season 6 on a decent note than trying to beat an already dead horse.

I guess I’ll answer my own question. At this point, sure. I’ll stick with it. Let’s face it, if I was going to run I would have run three years ago when, IMO, A and E reset their whole show and not in a direction I particularly liked. The characters are already shells of their former selves so having them gone isn’t going to make *that* much of a difference, I guess.
But honestly. Just end it. If the choice is to end at 6 or go on for another year as OUAT version 3.0, I’d 200% prefer it just be over.

Absolutely not. I’m here for Emma, Charmings and Hook. I love CS and Snowing. I can’t stand Regina at times and Zelena is borderline RH levels in S5 ATM. So heck no I would not stay.
February 27, 2017 at 7:20 am #333611TheWatcherParticipantI’d stay. I’d watch a WickedSisters show any day over one centered around most of the other cast. Would I expect it to be a television master piece? No.
But it’d be a fun show, I’m sure. For at least one season it would be fun."I could have the giant duck as my steed!" --Daniel Radcliffe

I’m having a hard enough time sticking with it now. Lana’s great and everything, but I wouldn’t watch just for her – I’d need more. If they did a total reboot, with the same structure but completely new characters, then I might watch the premiere. But I doubt they’ll do that.
