ME (being absolutely starstruck – stuttering and not knowing what the hell I was saying): Hi. Um. So I was just wondering, you were in two episodes of Once Upon a Time. Each episode was so different with flashbacks. Which was your favourite? And also, um you knew in Season 2 that you’d be back in Season 3 for an episode so do you know yet if you’ll be needed again in the future?
Rose: Oh I’m sure I’m going to do it again because I’m really good friends with Once Upon a Time. I’m friends with the creators and they’re so cool. It’s always nice I think for fans to know that it’s a great set and the people like Ginny Goodwin and the whole cast is so cool and nice and so are the creators. I definitely think that I’ll be back. I like the last episode better. I just, because I thought it was a really cool storyline and I, you know, as much as the audience gets to know Cora’s past, I get to know it too. So that’s pretty cool. I like having power and being evil but fabulous. I never think people that play evil are like “I’m evil”. People that are evil aren’t aware that they’re evil they just have their own special way of doing things. So I always try to play if say, I’m playing a bad character nobody thinks that they’re bad. Very few people know that they’re evil. So I just have to play it. You play it with this kind of innocence in a weird way, you know? It’s kinda no different to when you’re doing comedy. When you’re playing evil it has sorta comedy beats so that you can kinda be operatic and I can never do like a movie where I’m just like the girlfriend or something. I wouldn’t actually know what to do with that kind of a role so being Cora is fabulous.
